CHAPTER 16

"You have arrived. Your destination is on your right."

My phone said.

It was already dark outside since the sun already set and lights in the house were turned off.

"Stay here?"

I say to (Y/n) and she nods. I open the car door and make my way to the house before knocking.

"Hello is anybody there?"

I touched the doornob but it was unlocked.

Without thinking I walk inside and I searched around the house but find nothing.

There was one room I haven't checked down at the end of the dark hallway. I turn my phone flashlight on and cautiously walk to the door.

I open the door and turned on the lights and what I saw took the words from my mouth.

There was a man on the floor with two knives in his abdomen. I thought he was dead and immediately ran to him.

"Sir. Sir are you ok. I'll call an ambulance."

I see him turn his head slowly opening his eyes and looking at me.

"I-Its y-you. S-She has your b-baby. Go find her."

"Yh. But what about you?"

"I'll be ok. I'm a strong man. Just go. She is headed to s-seoul station. Get there before she does. There is a c-chance she m-might stop because her car has problems. Please go." I nodded and quickly called an ambulance before I left.

While driving we passed by an abandoned warehouse. For some unknown reason I felt drawn to it like a moth to a flame.

I turn out of the road and unto the dirt patch that led to the warehouse.

"Why are we going there."

(Y/n) asks giving me a confused look.

"I wanna check it out."

I drove my car inside the warehouse and stopped the car.

On thr other side of the warehouse there was a a dark blue toyota parked near a door that i'm guessing led to another part of the warehouse.

(Y/n) comes out the car and follows me as I cautiously made my way towards the car. I peeked throught the drivers window and saw no one in there.

Then I heard (Y/n) gasp.

"What's wrong?"

I rush to her side and check to see what she was looking at.

Inside the car a baby could be seen strapped in a carseat and there was tape on his mouth.

I knew it was kael.

I saw a box on across the room and I ran to it as I dug to see what was in there.

I found a crow bar and quickly made my way back to the car.

(Y/n) moves away as I repeatedly hit the car window with the crowbar till it finally broke.

I unlock the door and pulled it open immediately grabbing Kael from his seat after.

My heart was pounding in my chest as I removed the tape from his mouth and checked for a pulse.

Luckily I could feel it. It was faint but it was there. Tears of joy sprang to my eyes when I felt my baby boy in my arms again.

I put my jacket on the floor and lay him on it.

I gently tilt his head back with one hand and lift his chin with the other.

Then I put my ear to your his mouth and nose, and I could feel the hot air coming from out of his mouth and nose. I look at his chest to see that it was rising and falling at a normal pace.

"He's breathing. (Y/n) he's breathing."

I pick him up as he began to cry.

I was about to stand up when I hear someone say.

"Stop right there."
