Michael's POV
The sun beat down on my sunscreen covered back, Prince swam around in front of me. He splashed water, creating a rainbow with the sunlight. I waded around in the shallow end, the cool water barley going past my wast, while Francis's little feet dipped into the crystal clear water.
Francis's dark brown eyes followed Prince as he tossed around a beach ball. The colorful ball landed on the water, the little baby giggled when Prince dove to get it.
I looked down at the little babe, he sucked on a few lanky fingers, he got his hands from me, definitely. His tiny blue hat, covered in little ducks blew in the late June wind. I struggled to keep it on, as he didn't want it on and the wind also didn't want it on his scant, curl covered head.
My eyes drooped as I followed Prince, gallantly swam, keeping one hand on top of my sons, hat covered head. I was so tired, there were bags under my eyes, Francis did not like sleeping whatsoever, he would take little rests during the day but at night there was no sleep, not even a pinch.
He had started to reverse cycle, when they would sleep during the day and not go to bed at night. I was trying my best to keep him awake, though it was starting to work, I didn't know how long it was going to last. Being outside made it easer.
Francis nudged his way into my chest, making the little sucking motion with his mouth. "You just ate my little darling." I cooed, readjusting him so he sat upright, and not horizontal.
This kid wasn't going to be distracted from anything, including my chest. What if I could really distract him, not just hold him and hope that Prince would do all the work, keeping him from reverse cycling and my bare chest.
"Prince!!" I yelled, wading deeper into the pool. Francis's feet went farther into the pool, he shivered, his skin forming goosebumps. "Wassup." He grumbled, dipping under the water again and popping right back up in front of me.
The little boy in my arms squirmed, letting out small grunts and squeaks as he tried to wiggle his way back to my chest. "I have an idea- hold Francis." I ordered, handing over the fussy baby. He took the baby, situating him on his hip, Francis pulled at Prince's chest hair, making the older man wince.
"Ah my little Blackbird." He bit his lip, taking the the little humans hands away from his chest hair. I chuckled, swimming over to the steps.
I stepped out of the pool, accidentally scraping my feet on the rough concrete. Dripping water everywhere, I made my way to the top of the high dive. Prince gave me a small wave, I gave one back. I wrapped my arms around my waist, self-conscious of the pudge still left from the pregnancy. My lovely boyfriend smiled up at me, giving my confidence a micro-boost.
Francis, stared up at me, curiously looking at the water and then back up at me. Holding my breath, I took a few steps and jumped off, creating the largest splash.
I popped back up, spitting water out of my mouth, gagging slightly, chlorine didn't taste very good. I swam over to Prince and Francis, the baby had the largest grin covering his chubby face.
He tired to grab at my wet curls, my hair was so somewhat straightened before, now it kind of looked like a mop, Francis was fascinated by it. Prince placed a small smooch on the top of my head, making my heart flutter with love.
We played for a little bit, just enjoying each other's company. Until, the sound of angered steps hit against the cobblestone pathway located near the pool. I turned my head upwards, to see who was approaching.
