Stupid bitch!

That was what Maria Gonzalez was...at least in Tony Pennington's opinion. She may be the CEO of Ankh Motor Group, but that didn't mean he respected her in the least. For months he had been plotting to sell prototype blueprints to a rival company and take the profits. Along with that money he also had what he put back from stealing small amounts from different accounts which added up to a nice amount. With all of that money he had been planning on going somewhere much nicer than this dump. Maybe the Riviera...after all he had heard from some of the guys at the bar that the beaches there were topless with plenty of beautiful women running around. It sounded like paradise to him.

Thanks to Maria's call this morning most of his plans were now ruined since he would not be able to get a hold of the blueprints to sell. This factory was being downsized and the woman was bringing her own people to look through the records. It wouldn't take very long for them to find enough evidence to have him arrested and he was too fragile to be sent to prison. He may not have enough money to live the high life as he had been dreaming of for months, but he had enough to make due for a long time if careful with it. More than enough money if he was truly honest with himself. He was just far too greedy to settle though if his plans hadn't been ruined by that infuriating woman.

Clicking the confirmation button on the airline's website he finished purchasing a ticket to Brazil to pick up before boarding where he would decide what to do next. Thankfully he had already gotten his passport prepared so he could leave this afternoon in order to get out of the country before he chanced getting caught. Thankfully he had about five hours before the flight left which meant he could finish out the day if he wanted. Lunch would be starting soon and he saw little point in staying when he was going to be leaving this place to rot soon enough. Still, he might as well wait until lunch started and leave on his break so it wouldn't raise any questions until he was gone. It wasn't like he was doing anything for the company right then other than waste time waiting to leave.

Running his chubby fingers through his thinning hair, Tony reached into the bottom drawer of his desk to pull out a small, cheap bottle of whiskey. Opening it he took a large swig, wiping his mouth off on his suit's sleeve. He had been saving the whiskey for a special occasion, or at the very least the next intern that came in that he could pressure into having sex. In his opinion that was all the interns were good for anyway, entertainment for himself. Finally leaving this dump would have to be special occasion enough to crack open the bottle.

Leaning back in his plush chair he let out an irritated sigh. He just couldn't get over his bad luck; he had worked hard to keep the money he skimmed off accounts hidden while making it look as if they were making more than they were. It was easy enough to doctor the books and make it look as if the profits were going out to bonuses for the employees that didn't really exist as well as investments. It was easy enough to fool Maria as she never visited the facility before now trusting him to run things smoothly.

Grabbing his briefcase he tossed it onto his desk, the top popping open before he spun around to the filing cabinet. He had to empty his personal files before he forgot about it or they wouldn't have to look through the company files to incriminate him. He kept them locked in the bottom drawer where no one could get into without damaging the cabinet unless they had the key, which he was the only one who did. Pulling the key from his shirt pocket, he fumbled with getting it into the lock to unlock it before yanking open the drawer. Without bothering to look through the few files hanging there he grabbed them all and shoved them into his briefcase before slamming it shut. It was bulging a little from all of the paperwork, but it didn't really matter as no one working there was stupid enough to try and stop him.
