"You don't seriously believe that bullshit do you Demi?" Of course Demi saw that stupid news report and the minute she did I was shouted down the stairs.

"I don't know what to believe any more Brook." Seriously.

"YOU DON'T BELIEVE YOUR OWN FUCKING DAUGHTER." I shouted furiously at her.

"Brook calm down." I turned round and looked at Dallas who quite frankly I forgot was there.

"Demi, surley you would have noticed if she's been drinking." Dallas stood in between the both of us cutting off our death glares to each other.

"Yeah." Demi sighed.

I opened my mouth to speak but Dallas held her hand over my mouth shuting me up.

"I will be next door, so if either of you start world war three then I shall intervene." Both me and Demi nodded slowly as Dallas walked off.

"Mum." It feels weird calling her that but Demi is my mum and I couldn't ask for anyone better.

Her head snapped up and looked at me, a small smile on her lips.

"You believe me don't you?" There was a long pause before she ran at me and pulled me into a hug.

"Of course but I know what it's like to have the media against you for nothing." She kissed the top of my forehead.

"You want some lunch?" I shook my head.

"Well tough, your having some." Demi pulled away and heading into the kitchen. I walked the way back to my room to go and see what Danny wanted but as I walked past the front door I noticed the post on the floor.

I picked them up then went back into the kitchen handing them to Demi.

"Thanks baby girl, lunch will be ten minutes okay." I nodded and went up to my room.

"Danny?" I called out as I entered since he wasn't in bed where I left him.

"In here." I followed his voice into my bathroom where he stood washing his hands. I stood against the door frame my eyes traveled round the room then landed on something that was hidden in plane sight that really shouldn't have been.

My blade.

"You okay princess?" His head slowly started to turn to where I was looking.

"Yeah yeah I'm fine, lunch is ready let's go." I grabbed his hands and dragged him out of the room and downstairs. Waves of relief washed over me but I was anoyed at how carless I was.

"Lunch smells burned?" Danny laughed as we neared the kitchen I nodded my head in agreement.

"Demi I think something is burning." I looked at her, she sat at the table with a letter infront of her, and her hands clasped tightly under her chin.

"Demi what's wrong?" I sat next her, Demi pushed the towards me and I slowly started reading it and I felt sick.

Tears welled up in my eyes and bile rose in my throat how could this happen. I bolted from my seat and ran to the downstairs bathroom, doubling over the toilet bowl just in time as vomit spilled from my mouth.

Someone grabbed my hair and started rubbing my back, how could this happen how could there not be enough evidence against them.

Once I had quite literally threw everything up I sunk to the floor in fits of sobs.

"Hey baby girl it's okay, your okay, I'm here." Demi pulled me into her arms, cradling me like a small child.

"Demi." I kept sobbing out. Everything was rushing around in my head, the whole world was screaming at me, my demons screeched louder than before. I was desperate for a release, for the touch of a blade.
