In a land of fairy tales where dragons lay, a Prince is conjured from another land. He is set off on a mission to save his beloved Princess. A Witch with a sad tale to tell, who is rather bewitching, has captured her. Watch as the Prince's heart sways when choosing one between the two; the Princess or the Witch...can you guess who?...
Note: This is in no way related to The Lion The Witch and The Wardrobe. I just liked the name idea.
"Darn I'm going to be late!" The heavy rain poured as a young man with green eyes and neat, brown hair hurried down the street holding a dark green umbrella. He looked at his watch and sped up maneuvering his way around the hustling and bustling crowd. He ran down the steps to the underground train and ran. Up ahead, he saw his train. The doors were closing! He sped up and just as he was about to hold the doors open, they shut causing him to collide with them. He grumbled and checked the next train. He was definitely going to get fired! Why oh why did he have to stop at the cafe to get a croissant! Ugh he just couldn't resist those things. He sat down on a nearby bench waiting for the next train to arrive and thinking of an excuse to tell his boss.
"Andrew." a faint voice said. He looked around but saw no one. It came again, "Andrew." He stood up and looked around again but once again saw no one. "Andrew!" the voice came once more but slightly louder. Just then, a bright light shone and the whole room was enveloped in light. Andrew shut his eyes tight and when he opened them, everything was white. "Where am I?" he wondered as he looked around. A woman then erupted, "Andrew. The Keepers have sent for you." "What?!" Andrew responded confused. Suddenly, the ground shook and Andrew fell. He shut his eyes once again and when he hit a solid surface, grunted and shot them eyes open. He stood up, rubbed his back and straightened his suit.
Meanwhile, a curious young rabbit and her friend, a fox, hid behind bushes and watched him. "He's here." one of them whispered. "We must go tell the others!" They ran off towards the village in excitement.
Andrew looked around to see strange flowers and twisted trees. There were mushrooms of various colours and everywhere was as green as could be. "Where the hell am I?" he wondered. He was soo going to be late to work! He looked up and shielded his eyes as the blazing sun looked down at him. "This isn't England!" he said with a worried tone. Just where on earth had he landed himself?
Just then, he heard a yelp. He quickly ran to the source and there he saw a young girl surrounded. But this girl wasn't normal. She had ...wings?! The people or ..things surrounding her weren't normal either. They were massive and dirty with massive hands and legs. "Hehehe. Looks like we've caught ourselves a purrrty fairy. The boss is gonna like this one." one of them said. "Fairy?" Andrew thought. "The queen will never let you disgusting ogres get away with this!" the girl shouted. "O-ogres?" Andrew thought. W-wait fairies and ogres. Was this some sort of virtual reality game? Andrew stepped forward to get a closer look and a twig broke beneath him. His breath hitched as the ogres and fairy turned around and looked at him. "What in the name of Runox is a human doing in these parts?" an ogre said. The fairy screamed in her binds, "Quickly! Run!" But it was too late. One of the ogres had already captured Andrew and binded him. They placed him next to the fairy and what was presumably the leader looked at him and said, "Hmmm. I've never tried a human before, but I've heard they're delicious." Another quickly said, "But the boss said we shouldn't-" the leader interrupted, "The boss doesn't have to know." The other ogres grinned and started to prep. One brought a giant pot out of goodness knows where and some others started to make a fire. Another brought a bucket of water and poured it into the pot.
Meanwhile, the fairy started to fiddle with her binds. These ogres weren't that good at tying solid knots due to their big, beefy hands. Andrew looked over at her whispered, "What're you doing?" She looked over at him and said, "Escaping." Andrew responded, "What?" She scowled and said, "I told you to run away but you didn't. If you want to become ogre food, then be my guest, but I've got things and people to live for." Just then, one of the ogres stomped his foot making the ground shake and shouted, "What are you doing! It's better to add spice! You don't need measly salt!" Another bashed a tree making it tumble over and screamed, "No! Not everyone likes spice! You should think of others before yourself you selfish boggerhead!" they continued to argue amongst themselves until a big voice boomed, "ENOUGH!" Both stopped immediately as their leader came walking towards them.
