Memories || Taekook Au

16:00 pm, after hectic lunch time, we have our patissier here in the kitchen. He is busy stirring the dough, clearly looks confused.
There is so many ingredients on the table, and the co-owner, Namjoon asked Taehyung to make a new cakes recipe or new coffee.

"Hmm, what should I make then? Hmm there is chestnut, caramel, and roasted coconut. Oh, I guess I should leave out the chocolate either."  Taehyung said as he cleaned his counters.

Clang.. clang..
The sound of the door opening.

Taehyung saw someone entering the cafe, he looks a bit familiar.

"Oh, it's you! The boy from the other day in hospital!"

The boy looked surprised.
"Umm.. uh"  Taehyung stuttered a little. Taehyung forgot his name.

"It's Jeon Jungkook." Jungkook tell his name.

"Oh right, Jungkook ssi! I heard you are the one that called ambulance? Thank you." Taehyung tell Jungkook, maybe a little bit too enthusiast.

Jungkook looked down and said "not at all

"Ah,," Taehyung taken a back a little as he saw Jungkook looked down.
"Sorry, I am being over familiar." Taehyung scratches his back of his head, nervously as he bow down to Jungkook.

"Ah, no. That's not it. Please don't worry about that."  Jungkook said as he looks so nervous while putting both of his hand in front of his chest.

Taehyung then said, half screaming "Oh, right! Gratitude! I wanted to show my gratitude. If you like, have something to eat!"as Taehyung walk to his storefronts. Taehyung then pat his storefronts that full of sweet cake and said "I have great confidence in all of them, you know?".
Taehyung grin to him.

"What'll it be?"

Jungkook seem lost in his thought, and then after a while Jungkook's said " Then, something sweet." And Jungkook go to sit down, in front of the window's chair.

Taehyung taken a back a little.
"Nearly all of them are sweet, though".

Taehyung then thinks what cake should he gave to Jungkook. Taehyung looked at the cake on the storefronts and then look back at Jungkook who already sitting in his chair. Jungkook somehow looks so sad.

"Hmm.. for the lonely boy who saved me last time, I should give him the best from all of my cakes."
And then Taehyung choose the cakes.

"Custard pudding, strawberry shortcake and caramel macciato. How about it? All of them is my signature dish, hehehe." Taehyung said as he show his boxy smile. But, Jungkook reaction is really shocked Taehyung. Jungkook looks really shocked, but sad at the same time?

"Ah, the fact that they are classic doesn't mean I just picked them without thinking, okay? I thought the cake is really suit you. And they are really my signature dish here. I'm serious." Taehyung said as he nervous, really nervous. Taehyung doesn't want to offend Jungkook in this way.

But Jungkook just stay still, didn't say anything. It made Taehyung worried.
"Umm, Jungkook-ssi?"

And then Jungkook take a fork and dig into the strawberry shortcake, and said
"......Yes"
" I know"
