Mila Waters was waiting at the bus stop on a cold September night. The bus was coming in 5 minutes so she decided to check her phone.
She had 2 notifications. One from her mom and one from her best friend, pepper.
"Where are you?" Pepper texted
"Just at the bus stop, bus late, be there soon" she responded
"Text me when you get there" pepper said
"Will do" Mila responded
"Have fun!!!" Suzy's mom said.
"I will" she responded.
She was going to peppers house with some other friends for a sleepover. She was super excited to go and watch scary movies and snack and just have a great time.
The bus pulled up and she walked on. There were two other people on the bus sitting at the front talking. They were early 30s maybe 35. She decided to sit near the back. She sat down and played her music. The bus ride was going to take around 25 minutes. The bus filled up but no quickly. She was almost at the stop for her friends house when she got a message from a number she didn't know.
"Have fun tonight!! I'll be watching." She thought it was quite creepy but it must have been a wrong number... right?
She got off the bus started walking to peppers house. It was a five minute walk but it was nice out so she walked slowly. She turned down peppers street when she got a strange feeling. It felt like someone or something was watching her but that was impossible. Maybe it was proper looking for her out the window. She ran to peppers house and knocked on the door. Pepper quickly opens the door and gave mila a hug. Mila quick pulled away because she hated hugs.
"Finally." Pepper laughed
"Sorry I'm late." Mila said
"It's ok, come inside." Pepper said
Mila walked inside and saw everyone else was there.
"Hi mila!" Said Stella, one of mila tallest friends.
"Hi," mila responded "where's Brody?"
Brody was Stella's boyfriend
"Taking a shit" Stella joked
"Ok" mila laughed
She sat down on the floor near her friend Bekah
"Hi mila, glad you could make it, I have a question." She said looking uncomfortable
"Hi Bekah, what wrong?" She responded
"Well a couple of us got a message earlier today," she said looking around "did you?"
Mila remembered that earlier she got a message from a number she'd never seen before but just ignored it, who was it.
"Uh ya I did," she said shaking "it said have fun tonight, I'll be watching"
Everyone at the party looked at each other.
"That's the exact same as we got." Pepper said
Mila showed them the message when all of a sudden..
Bing!
Everyone pulled out there phones and had a message from the same number.
