Riley's pov

I was laying on the floor in the corner.i was silent scared that she would find me.it was dark and quiet.thats all I remember.i heard the door fly open.the light reviled the evil lady who said she was my grandma. "Little bitch!"She yelled grabbing me from my hair.since I was little all I could do is cries and scream.she dragged me to the living room and yelled "clean up".she then went into her room.i was little how was i suppose to clean.i picked up stuff on the floor and I saw something on the table.i didnt know it was a cig or that it would burn me.the red light the tip gave off amazed me and I touched it.it burned my finger tips.i screamed silently becomes I didn't want to get in trouble.Then I realized I woke up.it was a dressmaker.i was laying on the top bunk.i peeked down to see jayla sleep.i sighed and hoped down from my bed.I tiptoed to lannies room to see her on her phone. "Hey can I come in here with you?" I asked. "Sure sis" she said with a smile.i laid next to her and laid on her arm. "What's wrong?" She asked. "Bad dreams." I said. "Oh it's ok want to make some popcorn and hot chocolate" she said rubbing my back i nodded and she got up swept he sweat of my forehead.granma is dead and she wont hurt me but i think her ghost is hauting me.

me and kacy got into it because she is trying to tell me how to handle lannie.she my daughter i can handle her just fine. "you dont know teen girls dave if you keep tight lock on them they will just disobey u even more trust me" she fussed. "she is my daughter i got this!"i said ignoring her. "we are a team!" she yelled. "ok kacy but my words go no party thats the end!" i yelled.she rolled her eyes and walked into the other room.i walked into the livingroom to see lannie leaving the house.she was wearing a red shirt kinda crop and it hanged off the shoulders.and she had on jeans and sandals to match. "where ya going?" i asked her. "the school is having a pep rally ill be back later dad" she said. "put on a jacket before you leave my house looking like a hoochie.she sighed and walked upstairs.

LANNIES POV

i kinda lied to dad.one of the "popular" girls invited me to a party.older kids were going so i decided this was my chance to get to know some people.i walked over kalsey (the popular girl) house.she then had her brother to drive us to this party.it was alot of drinking and smoking.i was kinda shy so i sat to the side.this cute guy then walked over to me.he looked older than me maybe 9th grade. "hey" he said holding a drink. "this is for you" he said handing me the cup.i took a little sip then handed it back to him.it was nasty. "im more of a soda person"i said and he laughed. "lets talk more private.whats your name?" he asked. "lannie" i told him. "cute he said.he then lead me into a room.i was so into his face i lost track of time.i cut him off as he spoke. "i ugh i gotta go!" i said  trying to hurry out the door. "aye let me get your number" he said before i left.we exchanged numbers than i left.kelsy's brother was faded so we took uber.i got home and opened the door and daddy was at the door. "where tf you been young lady or should i say grown women since you making your own choices." he shouted.
