"so your okay?" mackenzie asks from the other side of the phone call.

yeah. music. i ran downstairs and placed myself firmly on the couch . "hey sweetie" said my mom from the kitchen.
"hi mom" i say quietly. she walked over to me and sat down beside me.
"what's wrong annie?" my mom says kindly .
"oh, well not seeing asher often makes me kind of mad, sad and other stuff too" i mumble.
"yeah im sure it is sweetie. youll see him soon love."
"i guess"i say rolling my eyes. i grabbed the remote and put on a random channel. i tucked myself underneath a big fluffy blanket and watched tv for ages.
