Chapter II
The next day I walked into my classroom. Thank god Amelia and I don't have the same first period. I sat down at my desk right next to Summer, and we started talking about what happened yesterday. As the class started I had this weird feeling that this wasn't over. Second period Drama Amelia isn't in that class either which caused a wave of relief to flow over me, as we neared the end of Drama we had Recess which of course Amelia had with me because the whole grade has it the same time. As I walked outside I ran straight to Summer and we walked around a little and hung out with our other friends. As third period neared English i went to my locker and got my book out for guided reading, I had avoided Amelia all day but then there G*d places us right next to each other. I didn't say anything I didn't do anything I just got my book and left I knew she was looking and I knew somewhere in my mind I just wanted to say a polite " Hi " but nothing came out so I went back into the classroom. As we approached lunch I sat with Summer and a couple of my other friends and about ½ way through lunch we saw Amelia and her friends staring at us and for the most part we ignored it but at some point it got to us. We went over to them well Summer and my friends went over to them and they talked I didn't want to go over there and for sure didn't want to talk to Amelia so I let my friends do their job. When they got back they said one thing "Amelia said that she was ALWAYS going to put her feelings first and she didn't care if I was mad or hurt" that really upset me but of course I didn't want that to show so I walked away. We walked back into the building for T.A.P ( Teacher Appointment Period ) and I went to talk to one of Amelia's friends and she said " I am surprised to see you here" and then Amelia walked up and I walked away. That is when it all turned upside down.
