I looked at my phone to check if anyone has surpassed me yet.

No one, no one has. I felt a bit proud as I sat on the bus looking on my phone.

"Hey, have you heard that CK7789's going to be on the OGTP show?!"
Someone sitting across me whisper shouted to their friends as they showed them their phone.

"Hope he does! But they'll be choosing them though. But yes! I'm sooo excited! He could be cute!"
A girl in the group responded.

"Hey, don't assume genders now. What if it's a girl?"
He scoffed.

"Oh well, we'll see. They'll reveal their faces soon anyways, and most of the gamers are boys."
She said to him.

At that moment, I felt embarrassed.

T-they're talking about me...

My anxiety rose till it's up into the clouds.

"Bet, if I win. You owe me $50. And if you win, I'll give you $50."
He challenged her.

"Bet!"
She replied

I kinda wish I was like that... with my brother... me and my brother have more of a distance relationship. We always disagree with each other, situation small or big. We always have an argument about it afterwards... our relationship of kind of complicated... but I'm not going to get into that.

I turned off my phone and waited till we got to the school

I walked off the bus and onto the concrete.

Is Evelyn here today?

I questioned myself as I hoped I didn't have to walk alone.

Is Carlos here today too? Hope he comes in late like me. Oh wait, he comes early everyday cause he's a GOOD KID THAT HAS A WAKEUP SCHEDULE.

I yelled at myself mentally, whilst walking inside the building.

I opened the door and entered the school.

The cold air conditioner air blowed onto my face.

I walked to my locker, I took my usual things from my locker and texted my friend to check if she's here, before I embarrass myself.

Erk: yeah downstairs bathroom

You: locker, can u come over here? :) I'm too lazy to walk all the way over there just to walk back :))

Erk: Fine lazy ass

I started walking towards her as she gave me a annoyed look.

"Heyyyyy~"
I called out to her knowing I'm making her more annoyed than she already is.

"Lets just go to class... the bells gonna ring and it's going to be YOUR fault."
She hissed at me

"Ouch"
I looked at her acting as if I'm crying on the inside

Which I do everyday-

Then she looked at me

"What? Do I have something on my face?"
I teased her

"Yes. An ugly expression is showing on your face like usual."
She retorted

"Stop boolying me, I know I'm ugly ok! You don't have to point that out, captain obvious!"

I watched as her mood lightened up a bit.

"Oh, by the way, Jimin, have you heard about the OGTP show? I really hope CK7789 will be there! I mean, they'll be choosing the top 100 players... but I'm still so nervous!"
She practically rapped out, breathing harshly

"Well, of course sh- CK7789 will be there."

Or I hope so...

We spent the last few minutes talking till we got to class.

"Well... lets hope she isn't here today."
I whispered to Evelyn

"Yeah... is Carlos in there already?"
She whispered back

"I don't know...?"
I questioned not knowing the answer

"HEY Bishes"
He quieted down at the last part

"I know now-"
I cut her off

"Me too-"
He cuts me off

"What are you guys talking about?"
He asked, but before we could answer, the teacher yelled at us to "Get inside the classroom."
