I saw a tree outside the window,
I glanced outside and I was ready to go,
What entered my sight was a mass of junk,
I marched in front and saw a trunk,
I stretched out my hand to touch,
But drew it back when saw the fuss,
Parts of the trunk were glowing bright,
As if glass would look in sun's light,
I touched my head to the bark and couldn't hold back my smile,
The smiles, the laughs all were flowing in their big Nile,
The tree was singing and laughing,
I was enjoying but soon screaming,
From the further end I heard a scream,
I neared the end and all left was a beam,
The beam of light was dim,
It was screaming 'JIM',
I guessed "Jim" must be the woodcutter,
And on the same time a ... Betrayer,
The tree was then crying and screaming his name,
It asked him to stop his game,
He begged for death but did not die,
......before saying a final GOODBYE
I got up to see a tree being cut,
Stopping the man I asked him to keep shut,
I hit the man on his head,
Hugging the tree I said,
"You will not die,
See you again and no goodbye!"
