It didn't take that long for Tsuna to get a full recovery. Four days, and he's already back doing paperworks and sending his guardians back to the missions they've been skipping. Another four days, and the said male is fit enough to go on rampage after Mukuro's last report. Seriously, someone needs to put some sense to that da**ed pineapple. Then again, most of his guardians weren't any better.

Surprisingly enough, Kyoya was the only one that's civil enough not to cause damage other than he supposed to. Which is creppy, knowing how he is. He remember the aloof cloud mentioned about how he know his feelings since he used to have paperwork when he was still a prefect and all. Alas, Tsuna was grateful.

Nightmares still haunts him at night, but Tsuna had learnt on putting up a strong front when anyone's around, eapecially now when Reborn just won't stop pestering him.

"Will you knock it off? I'm doing my job, okay?" The young don said, annoyed, yet mouth formed a pout out of habit.

"What? Can't you see that I'm doing my job too?" Reborn said nonchalantly as he keep on feeding Leon some treats.

"And what kind of job exactly?"

Snickering, Reborn gladly answered, "to babysit you, of course. I did say that it's in my job description, no?" --Tsuna don't even bother to cover up his emotion and just simply face palmed.

"For the love of-- How many times should I tell you? I. Don't. Need. You. To. Babysit. Me. Don't you have any other useful things to do?"

Wich of course, Reborn would simply reply with, "Nope"

"I've finished my mission much earlier than the due date. And you have assigned me the next one, which won't start before next week. I'd say, I'm free to do anything I like in the meanwhile."

"And by that, you mean, disturbing my work with distractions..." Tsuna complained.

"All I ever did is sit here and play with Leon. How come that get off as distraction" Clearly, Reborn is enjoying this very banter.

"You are an eyesore. Of all places, why did you choose my office, anyway?"

"What? Are you jealous that I can play but you can't?" It seems like the brunet's Little side has been restrained poorly that it was just that easy for the hitman to provoke him.

Still, Tsuna seemed to know the other's aim by now, and purposely backing away from the battle, "yeah, fine, whatever. Just do as you please." He said as he sunk back to his seat. Again, drowned by the godd*** papers.

'Well, at least doing some work will distract me from those hideous nighmares' he shivers a bit at the remembrance. In which, it didn't go unnoticed by the hitman's sharp eyes. The raven would just stay quiet for now...

A few hours later. It's finally dinner time. And by then, Tsuna's finally done with today's stacks. "Thanks for the good work" Reborn was only being polite, but the brunet was rather happy just from being acknowledged. He was actually sincere with his grin.

"But anyhow. Why were you so persistent? That's so unlike of you to just waste your time like that" Tsuna asked, finally come to his sense.

Reborn just gave him a half a**ed answer by saying, "heh, I wonder why..." his trademark smirk on full display.

"You, on the other hand, how long are you going to pretend that nothing happens? You know that it only tires you up."

Tsuna let out a humorless chuckle as he halted on his track, "as expected, nothing get passed you. And here I thought I've been doing great."

Reborn turned around for a bit, enough to glance over his ex-student as he said, "you're a boss mafia, Tsuna. And though I did taught you about stay composed in all situation, I didn't expect you to be a third grade actor towards your own family"

The hitman caught the sight of the other's dull eyes before the owner get to avert them away from his line of sight, "it's not that I did it on purpose..."

"You guys already have your own concerns. And me being what I am has been a bother enough despite how you guys keep saying that it's fine." Tsuna tried to reasoned.

"I... I know that you were just worried, but it's not necessary. I will be fine. I just... need a bit of time to sort things out." He said before then turning his head to face his advisor with closed eyes and a disgusting fake smile. That stupid, stupid, boy... how dare he smile when clearly he's not alright?

He was outspoken, however, when Leon mallet came in contact with his head with a force of hurricane, "OW! What was that for?!" The younger shouted as he softly rub the hurting spot whilst grimacing in pain.

"What? I'm not going to be all sentimental about this. And hitting you had been amazing on fixing your sh** back in the old days. I can't see why it wouldn't do any great" Reborn said with an uncaring tone as Leon jumped to Tsuna's shoulder, licking the latter's cheek as an apology it knew its master wouldn't ever say.

"So, how was it?"

"How was what?" Tsuna said almost in whine, clearly still in pain.

"The dark thoughts in your head. Do I need to shot some bullets too?" Tsuna almost comically sweatdropped.

"You have some screwed nuts in your head. I feel silly for getting surprised"

"Well, you are a Dame for a reason... stupid, but not completely useless." Reborn said, a fond smile in his face despite how he purposely looking distant, "you don't need to be perfect. I didn't taught of you that. Just remember why you're here, and how did you come this far."

"You feel our pain, and likewise we feel your distress. The guilt is not yours to shoulder, but for us to uphold. You're not our master and we're not your pions. We walk in the same bloody path as you. So don't you dare to get ahead of us on your own. Try that once again and see how you'd like me to drag you back. Some holes in your thighs sounds wonderful, don't you think?"

Reborn might be joking, but when it comes to the sadistic raven, Tsuna didn't even bother to think it as one and just reflexively scoots a few steps back.

"Uh... no thanks. I think I get your point." The don said, somewhat more petrified by the threat that he completely forgot about his previous nightmares.

Seeing the cloud has cleared from the boy's eyes, Reborn can't help but feel relieved. He's really going to be fine now.

"Well then, now that it settled, we still have to eat the dinner. And maybe once I digest our meal, I'll knock some more sense to your thick skull. You know? Some precautions in case some stupid thoughts still lingering around"

"I-I'm okay with not... H-Hey, wait--!!" yet the hitman already dragged the young sky off his feet.

Then again, I guess everthing is going well in the end. And that's all mattered... right?
