Chapter 3

"Hey" Mason said while kicking the side of the couch making Jax and Kacey jump awake, Jax looks around forgetting where he was then remembering everything that happened last night. Kacey rubs her eyes then grabs her phone looking at the time reading 7:13 AM "what the hell, mason it's too damn early" Mason walks back into the kitchen "well the kids phone keeps going off and it's fucking annoying" he said, Jax grabs his phone muttering a sorry towards Mason too which Mason replies by saying whatever.

Jax jumps out of the bed cursing when he hits his knee, Kacey looks at him with a worried expression "hey, you okay jax?" "no, my moms been blowing up my phone wondering where i've been" Jax grabs his shoes then faces too look at Kacey "kacey, do you mind driving me back to get my car?" "yea sure just let me grab my keys" Kacey said while walking over the the kitchen grabbing the keys off the counter. Kacey and Jax make their way towards the door but before they make it Mason yells at Kacey "those are my keys!" Kacey spins around with the keys swinging on her finger "well, now they're mine" she said while closing the door blowing Mason a kiss making him roll his eyes.

The two friends make their way towards Masons car getting in, Kacey starts up the engine then looks at Jax "give me your phone" she said, Jax pulls out his phone handing it too her. "what are you doing?" Jax questions her, she doesn't answer back for a couple seconds "aand their!" Kacey said excitedly handing the phone back too Jax. Kacey buckles up then answers Jax "i put my number in it, so if you ever wanna hang out or just fuck around just give me a text".

The rest of the car ride consists of them listening to some music talking about stuff here and there, until they get too Jax's car. Kacey stops her car behind Jax's putting the car in park then looks over at Jax "well, i guess this is farewell for now" she said reaching over to give Jax a hug "but remember if you ever wanna talk or hang out just give me a text" she said pulling away "yea, of course" Jax said smiling, unbuckling then stepping out of the car. Jax leans into the open window "thank you for everything, kacey, it was fun almost getting arrested with you" he said both laughing "well i should get going before my mom sends out a search team for me" Jax said walking too his car hearing Kacey scream "i'll being waiting on that text" while driving away.

Jax drives too his house thinking about everything that happened last night smiling. When Jax gets home the first thing when he unlocks his front door is his mom worriedly asking where he's been "Jaxon Christopher Lang, where have you been?" Jax slips off his shoes then looks at his mom "i was at a friends house" before his mom could say anything he walks over to her putting his hands on her shoulder "mom, before you say anything i know i should of told you where i was-" he said while hanging up his coat making his way towards the stairs leading upstairs stopping too look back at his mom "- i'm sorry, but mom i'm eighteen you need to trust me, i mean i'm going to college soon i'm not always gonna have to tell you everything".

Jax's mom walks over to him gently putting her hands on her son's cheeks "it's not you i'm worried about sweety...it's your father, you know how he gets when he's angry i'm just worried what he'll do" Jax swallows the lump in his throat resting his hands on his mom's "i won't let him hurt you. I promise" he said making his way too his room. Gently shutting his bedroom door behind him flopping onto his bed trying to get as much sleep as he can before Bee comes over and wakes him up, not worrying that much about his father knowing he won't be home til ten at night.

I'm sorry this chapter is so short i just wanted to update it, but i'm gonna start working on the next chapter soon.
