Kara woke up that morning to an empty house and the image of a certain Luthor battered and bruised being Supergirl she had seen alot. It wasn't till she heard the front door open along with Alex and Maggie's voice they just have decided to come check on her before they left for the weekend. Eliza must have called so that Alex could check on her, Alex also worked at the D.E.O, but only part time they were taking their time to train her properly. For Alex the plan was to have her properly trained so that she could take over the D.E.O when the time comes.

Kara had gotten showered and ready in just a couple of minutes before heading downstairs to meet with her older sister along with Maggie. "I thought you'd be faster lil Danvers," Maggie commented tossing the Super an orange juice "we brought food for you." By now everyone who knew her identity, which was only a select few people, knew her appetite was a rather large one.

"You okay? Mom said you did well last night but you seemed more out of it than usual?" The older Danvers asked as she grabbed an orange juice from the fridge then turned to face her sister.

"Lena was there along with Lex whatever happened before I got there wasn't good. I think whoever is after Lionel might be using his kids to get to him. I also know Lena probably won't be back at school for awhile until she heals."

"You sound worried," Alex knew her sister cared more than anything "I would say check on her but you don't know her like that, Kara."

"Well she might not know Kara like that but Supergirl does know what transpired that night." Maggie suggested noticing that it was bothering the younger Danvers a lot.

"I just realized I've got to go do something." Kara stated and head out the house through the back porch taking off her glasses. Her Super suit materialized once she removed them  then letting her hair down.

Alex look to Maggie "Really?"

"What?" Maggie shrugged "Kara seemed really worried for Lena and I know the Luther or I use too. I'd like for someone to be there for her and I think Kara would be good for her maybe even change her."

"Maggie, what if it doesn't go good?"

"What if it does? We won't know we have to let Kara find out on her own and to be honest I think they would both be good for each other. Like yin and yang, the moon to her sun, the light to her darkness." Alex knew Maggie might be right and she knew about Maggie having known Lena. Alex only hoped that it would go right and not the wrong way between her sister and Lena.

"We should head out before we hit traffic." Alex  said as she grabbed her duffel bag following Maggie out to her car.

Kara made it to the Luthor mansion using her x ray vision to search the house finding Lena's room. It was on the other side separate from the other Luthor's room which was completely fine with her. The good thing was that Lena's room had a balcony where the raven haired was already there. Supergirl floated in front of her as Lena look up at her although not with awe as she was used too.

"What are you doing here?" Lena said confused and a bit taken by surprised but she hid all that emotion well.

"I came to check on you," Supergirl looked beside the Luther "May I?"

Lena only nodded she she took a seat not having thought the Super would even be here but she had seemed worried the night before. "I am well you could sit if you'd like."  The only thing between them was a chess table that she kept out.

Kara simply took her seat "You look a little better I'm sorry I didn't get there sooner."

Lena shook her head with a slight laugh escaping from her mouth "I'm glad you got there at all if not I wouldn't have been here, Supergirl. So I'd say you got there just in time these bruises will be gone in a couple of days."

Kara smile at hearing that laugh escaped it sounded like a piece of heaven to her ears. "Do you play? Chess?"

"I do," Lena looked to the blonde "would you like to play?"

"I would," Kara smiled "we actually had something similar to this back home on Krypton. I was pretty good at it although I could never beat my aunt Astra she played this game for fun."

The pieces were already set "You may have the first move," Lena watched as the blonde moved a pawn on the far left "what was Krypton like exactly?"

As they played chess neither had realized how easily they opened up to the other. It was peaceful something neither had, had in awhile, it was also new to the Luther to have someone to open up too. It wasn't till Eliza came over her ear piece "Supergirl."

"I'm here." Kara spoke as moved her last piece her and Lena won but they had been going head to head for the longest.

"We need you, we have a major situation in downtown of National City."

"I'm on my way." Kara put her ear piece on mute looking to Lena. "We are going to have to do this another time."

"You mean a re match?" Lena smirked but she had to admit Supergirl was good at chess. "You are more than welcome to come back anytime, Supergirl."

Kara nodded "You'll see me again then soon."

"I think National City needs its hero." With that Supergirl had taken off toward downtown National City. It was another kryptonian although her aura and the emblem on her chess were different. "Eliza, do we have anything on this one?"

"No, the only thing we have is that she's been leaving her mark all over the city."

"Supergirl, I've been waiting." A dangerous smirk grew on the woman's face as she walked closer to Kara.

"Well you could have you know made a call instead of burning your coat of arms into buildings." Kara walked toward her as they met halfway both scanning each other over. There was a news helicopter hovering over them and she was sure plenty of journalist under them.

"Funny," she looked around to the helicopter then back to Supergirl "you've been doing things wrong. Justice hasn't been served and it will be along with every sinner who has done wrong. Soon there will be no more and earth will be at peace without the sin that you have not even cleaned up."

"Supergirl." Eliza came over the intercom "You cannot fight her." Kara didn't paid any attention dodging the first hit thrown by the other Kryptonian. The Super gave the next one and soon they were going back and forth only it felt as if Kara was the only one feeling the hits. The ancient Kryptonian finally grabbed the now beat up superhero holding her over the 32 story building. Kara could no longer hang on she was merely being held by the ancient Kryptonian.

"I am Reign," she grinned "and you, Supergirl, are finished." With that she dropped Kara and it felt all but slow motion to the younger Kryptonian as she grasped at nothing but air. Kara hit the concrete hard and after everything it was black.

When Kara woke up again she was in her sunroom although she was hooked up to machines. "Kara," it was Alex who was dressed in her DEO clothes "you are stupid! Why didn't you listen to mom? I can't believe you!"

"How long?"

"You've been out for a week." Alex sighed and shook her head "You were legit close to death Kara. You were on the verge. You can't go up against her by yourself not her at all."

"What are we supposed to do, Alex?"

"We could ask for backup from Flash and the Legends but I'm not even sure that'd be enough at all."

"No, we can't bring them in at least not yet." Kara stood up way to fast giving her whiplash she must've not been fully healed.

"Kara you need to rest."

"No I need to get up and we need to figure something out." Alex shook her head at her sister's stubbornness and left it at that as they made their way down from the med bay. That was when Eliza popped up "You can tell Alex no but you will not tell me No now go home Kara. We will update you once we have something."

Kara glared at both her sister and her adoptive mom and exited the building to head home.
