I walk slowly along the pavement, my heart beating faster and faster as I approach the school. I can't bare it. It will all start today. I walk through the school door, trying to keep my dignity. Suddenly, Gwen walks up to me. "Hi!!" She says merrily. "Hi." I say, trying to sound a bit more enthusiastic than I actually am. "So........" She says. "So.....what?" I say. "He wants you. And I'm fine with that. As long as we stay friends, them I'm fine with you dating him." She looks at me and smiles. She puts her hand on my shoulder and says "Really? Are you sure? I won't if you don't want me to." I think for a minute before I anything. "Yeah. Has he said anything to you yet?" She looks over at Peter quite a bit down the hall, before she says "No. He's just given me a few small smiles and a wave." She looks down at her shoes. "But I'll tell you if he does say anything." I nod, and smile, until the first bell rings. "God, Willow. You could've had the chance to stop it happening there, but you didn't. That was just stupid." I say to myself. It all starts today. It will go on for God knows how long. It won't end.
