RIDE

It was late afternoon after Seth had just finished another session of media and autograph signing. He did it so very often but still wasn't used to the screaming of fans on his face yelling at him to sign their merch. It was exhausting and he wasn't getting any better with more things on his mind such as the one they call the Lunatic fringe.
The man had been teasing him since months, they knew each other well over 3 years but it wasn't until last year that their relationship took a step ahead but before they got anywhere, the authority broke them up and took Seth as their own.
Seth had no option but to suppress his feelings and get that man outta his head forever as he was told to do by the authority themselves "forget about him" was always the line. And he was trying his best to but every time he laid his eyes on Dean, he wanted him more than anything else but he made sure to hide it the most he could. His thoughts were just Dean.

With everything on his mind, he pushed the elevator button going up to his hotel room so he can finally just lay on his bed and get his much needed sleep.

As the elevator doors opened he stepped in and pushed floor 8.

The elevator came to a stop at the third floor and the doors opened to no one else than the man who Seth didn't wanna see one bit. Dean Ambrose.

"Oh hey look who it is. The Authority's boy. Did daddy H leave you by yourself here?" Dean teased him as he got in himself and pressed the floor for 10.

"Shut up" was all Seth could say at the moment as he tried his best not to lay his eyes on Dean the whole ride.

As the elevator passed the 6th floor, it abruptly stopped as the light in the elevator switched off and Seth almost lost his balance and would've fallen to his knees if it weren't for Dean who caught him.

Seth immediately pulled away without muttering a word. But he was blushing, he could feel his cheeks heat up but gladly Dean couldn't see him blushing in the dark.

The emergency light soon turned on. It was a small and dim bulb right where the buttons are supposed to be. It wasn't enough light to see things clearly that both men would figure out where the other is standing.

Seth pressed the emergency button repeatedly "Hey hey slow down there champ. It's just a stuck elevator. It happens like everyday" Dean seemed to unbothered as usual, that's just how he handles life. Seth wouldn't mind either if he wasn't already tired enough and stuck in the elevator with no one else than the one he's trying to avoid.

It seemed like the emergency button wasn't working either, it had been a few mins since they were stuck and Seth was visibly losing his cool.

Soon the speaker turned on "Hey is anyone stuck in there?" Said a voice "Yes we are! Get us out!" Seth replied quick "Well we're trying but we probably can't for some time. Looks like there's been a power surge and you're guys are stuck for some time"
"How long?" Asked Dean
"We dont know for sure but maybe an hour or two. We're trying"
"Ugh perfect!" Seth said as he let out a loud sigh.

"Maybe we can just open the damn door" Seth said as he pressed his fingers under the middle of the elevator doors and tried to pull them apart.
"I dont think you should be trying that" said Dean who was carelessly leaning back on the wall.
"What YOU should be doing is helping me get outta here!" Seth replied.
"C'mon chill it's not like we're gonna be stuck here forver yah know. Be patient" Dean said as Seth pulled away from the doors.

The elevator was filled with awkward silence. Seth didn't know if he should be trying to start a conversation either and Dean was looking at the ground totally unbothered about being stuck.
"Your match was nice last PPV" Dean broke the silence.
"Quit it"
"I'm serious" Dean giggled
"No you're just teasing me how you always do so dont talk to me"
"Hah you're always so serious about things. You should learn to stay calm and stop worrying so much"
"You dont get to tell me what I have to do so just quit it"
"Jeez I was just tryna have a conversation since we're gonna be here for a while but okay then Mr. Stick up the butt"
Seth rolled his eyes as he took a seat on the ground.
