Chapter 1

I was swimming with fish friends, when something caught my eyes. Hmm what's this? I swam down to the object.

What is this? I picked up the object. Maybe my sister Ariel knows, I'll ask her. I begin to swam toward her room in the castle.

"Ariel! There's something I need to show you" I shouted as I knocked on her door. "What is it Krystal" She replied to me though the door.

"Let me in so I can show you" I said. "Fine" She said as she opened the door, I swam in right after she opened it.

"Now show me" Ariel said while crossing her arms. "Here"I handed her the object and it stop glowing when I gave it to her.
"What am I suppose to do with this" Ariel said looking at it. "What?! It was just glowing. Let me see it" I said as I grabbed it out her hand.
The object started to glow again.
"What?! Hey Krystal, let's go see if mother knows" Ariel said as she start to swim to the door.

•In the throne room•

"Mother" Ariel said. "Yes sweetie" The queen replied to her daughter. "Do you know what this is" I said handing the glowing object to my mother. The queen took the object and it stop glowing when the she touch it. "Where did the glow go?"Mother asked while looking at it. I grabbed it from her and it started to glow again.

"I don't know honey, maybe grandma knows" Mother said. "Where is she?" Ariel asked. "She should be in the garden or her room" Both me and Ariel nod our head and swim out the room to find our grandma.

•Somewhere on land•

"Good Morning Prince" The fisherman waved as he started to gather fishes again. I nod my head motioning a good morning back, and continue to walk around the village. I sat down by the ocean, until I heard someone shouted my name.

"Prince Grayson!" I turned around and saw my childhood best friend Evelyn.

"Oh hey Eve. Do you need anything" I asked watching her sit next to me. "No I just wanted to hang out!". "Okay what do you want to do" I asked her as she stood up. "Let go for a swim" Eve said as she started to take off her sunhat and sundress then she jumped into the water.

"Are you going to get in prince" Eve said as her head popped up out the water. "No thanks, I got to go somewhere to be today and don't really have time to change clothes" I said while laughing.

"Awe okay maybe next time" Eve said as she jumped out the water and sat next to me. I looked at the ocean again. "Hey why is your necklace glowing" Eve asked. I looked down and saw my necklace glowing. "I don't know" I said looking confused.

Eve touched it and it stop glowing. "Hey where did the glow go?" Eve asked a little freaked out. I took it out of her hands and it started to glow again.

"That's so weird, but I have to get going"Eve said getting up and putting her clothes back on and walking away. "Bye Eve" I waved. I looked backed at the ocean until it was time for me to go.

•Back in the ocean•

Me and Ariel swam to the garden. "Grandma!" Ariel called. "Yes dear" Grandma Ava said. "Do you know what this is" I said handing it to her. Grandma Ava took it and it didn't stop glowing. "Hey Grandma how come it didn't stop glowing" Ariel asked. "Because it's a Crystal from when I was a little merbaby. It only glows from someone who owns it" Grandma Ava explained. "And that person who owns it is you and Krystal" Ariel said.

"But why is a piece missing from it" Ariel asked. "I don't know, but we have to find that piece" Grandma Ava stated. "Why?" I said. "Ariel dear can you leave me and Krystal alone for a second" Grandma Ava said. Ariel nod and swam back to the castle.

"What is it Grandma?" I asked. "You need to find the other piece of this crystal" Grandma Ava said. "How will I find it" I asked so confused. "It somewhere on land" Grandma Ava told me. "Alright, I'll go, but what happen if we don't get the piece" I asked. "The world will end" Grandma Ava exclaimed. I nod and swam toward my room. I sat on my bed and started to think until I fell asleep.
