Once a child this process can't be regained,
You will not always be there to save me from all anguish and pain.
I need to be let loose but not too far,
At-least you'll be there to help to heal my scars.
Give me space not a loop hole,
I'll always run to you when my heart gets cold.
Can't you learn to trust my judgement,
Am I not yours I reside in your encampment.
Can't you be set free from your insecurities,
Blaming me of my abnormalities.
I'm yours and forever I'll stay,
My innocent smile will always brighten your day.
Yet I understand your pain when I'm too far from you,
My presence alone erases grey skies to blue.
Once a child twice the pain,
I can never relive this time again.
