Chapter 1 Senior Year Finally !

"Kelly!" her mom yelled, "I'm leaving for work." The door slammed and before you know it, Kelly's mom was backing out of the driveway. "Mom wait!" screamed Kelly. Kelly jets down the stairs but, was disappointed to discover that her mom was already gone. Kelly moved the curtain to look into the driveway and then quietly said "I love you too mom." Kelly went into the kitchen and grabbed an apple, she took a look at the clock. It was 8:12, Kelly was extremely late for the first day of her senior year. She grabbed her book bag, and she grabbed her car keys. Kelly ran into the driveway, crank up the car, and backed out. She arrived at Mount Crest High at 8:45. She swiftly ran to the front office to retrieve her schedule, then, she darted to her first period classroom. Kelly slowly opened the door, she tried to quickly slip into her seat. "You're late Ms. Washington, stand up please" said Mr. Crabtree. Mr. Crabtree is the creative writing teacher. The students hate his class because he is so strict. "Come to the front please Ms. Washington." said Mr. Crabtree. "Why are you late Ms. Washington?" "Sorry Mr. Crabtree, I got off to a late start." said Kelly. "Excuses are for fools Ms. Washington" said Mr. Crabtree. The bell rang, the students didn't waste any time getting their things and leaving Mr. Crabtree's classroom. Kelly stepped off into the bathroom to finish looking over her schedule:

Spanish 3 - Mr. Wilkins

College Math Prep - Mrs. Downings

English 4 - Ms. Walker

P.E. - Coach Jordan

Drawing 2 - Mr. Singleton

She hated her schedule. She gathered her things and exited the bathroom. "Babe!" yelled a deep voice. Kelly turned around. She knew that voice from anywhere. It was Myles. Myles is the star quarterback for Mount Crest

High. She walked toward him. "Hey baby" she said. "Can I see your schedule" he asked. Kelly handed her schedule to Myles. They both discovered they have two classes together. They bell rang. Both Kelly and Myles were late for second period!
