Chapter 2 Distractions

"Buena clase de la mañana, y bienvenidos a español tres." said Mr. Wilkins. Some of Kelly's classmates starred at Mr. Wilkins with confusion plastered on their faces. "What did you just say?" asked Claire Smith. Claire was a rich kid who hardly ever did any of her work. She envied Kelly because, she was dating Myles McGee of course. Just as Claire took her seat, Kelly and Myles came strolling in. "You're both LATE!" said Mr. Wilkins. "Sorry, we got caught up in the hallways morning rush" said Kelly. Mr. Wilkins ordered the two too sit down so he could began their first lesson. "Stand up class" said Mr. Wilkins with a firm tone. "I know that you all are seniors now" said Mr. Wilkins. (The students start to applaud and cheer.) "Settle down" said Mr. Wilkins. "But I still do believe in arranged seating" (the class sighs, gather their things, and move to the front of the class.) He randomly called students names, one by one. "Kelly Washington, you can take your seat next to Mr. Harrison" said Mr. Wilkins. Myles face turned bright red. "Why does she have to sit next to him, can't she sit next to a girl" said Myles in an angry tone. "My class, my rules" said Mr. Wilkins. "You can gather your books and move next to Claire." Claire's face lit up like the sun. "Hi Myles" she said, blushing . "Sup" Myles said. Kelly rolled her eyes. She hated Claire, and the fact the she got the sit by Myles made her bull steaming mad. "Get aquatinted with who you are sitting next too, they will be your partner for the year" said Mr. Wilkins. This upset Kelly even more. David turned toward Kelly. "Hey, I'm David Harrison" he said. "I know who you are" Kelly snapped. "Sorry, but I don't need your attitude" said David. Myles walked over towards the two. "Is there a problem bro?" he said. "No, bro" David snapped back sarcastically. He gathered his things and went to sit amongst his friends. Myles grabbed Kelly. "Don't you ever have any conversations with that douche again, you hear me?" he said. "Let me go Myles you're hurting my arm!" said Kelly snatching away. The classroom became quiet, everyone drew tree attention towards them. "Show her who's boss bro" someone yelled. Myles gave a grin. Kelly gathered her things and ran out of class. "HEY!, what's going on!" "Order in my classroom please" said Mr. Wilkins. "Ms. Parker, can you go find Ms. Washington?" he said. "Mr. McGee, principals office, NOW!"
