"Look, I know this sounds weird, but recently.... I've realized something. Something awful. Monica, you're the only person I know to talk to. I know I have my best friend Natsuki, but I don't think she'd really understand. I dunno, I just felt talking to you would be best."
Monica looked at me in an almost surprised look. We were sitting on a bench outside my house, as she lived near me. It was a Saturday.
"Well, what kind of something did you realize?"
I sighed. "I know I'm going to sound crazy, but I realized that I'm, uh, well, in a g-game."
Monica staired at me in shock.
I stuttered, "Yeah, well- I guess I'm just crazy. I'm sorry for bothering you, I just-"
I felt her lips squeeze against mine as she pushed my head towards hers.
Monica just kissed me.
What the hell? This popular, sporty girl just KISSED the nerdy weird girl that is me, after saying something crazy.

She released my head and I felt my face get hot.
She smiled at me as if I had just asked to marry her. "I-I thought I was the the only one! Oh my god, I thought I was crazy!" She grabbed my hand. "I'm so glad you told me, Ari."
I looked at her, my face feeling like you could boil Oolong tea on it. "Monica- do you realize you just kissed me....?" I said under my breath.
She grabbed me by my shoulders and pressed her lips against my neck. I froze as I felt her tongue touch my skin.
She pulled away and I felt as if I was about to pass out. I limply leaned against the bench as I felt Monica pull my phone out of my pocket.
She tapped away at it and handed it back to me. I lightheadedly took it.
"There, now my contact is in your phone."
"Th-thanks."
She got up and got on her bike, and peddled away, leaving me to sit there in shock.
