We're not like them
We are one.
What they might think insane
For us it's only fun.
You may hate me today
I'll just love you tomorrow.
And when it's my turn to hate
You won't feel no sorrow.
We are not like them
We are fickle.
What's painful for them
For us it's a mere tickle.
The only one who can understand me
Is you
Even on the days when you're troubling me too.
We're not like them
Because I loved you forever.
You've been in the ground for so long
You didn't feel my tether.
It's thin
And shines under the moon
My time is coming
So you'll have to make room.
We're not like them
We put their love to shame.
Where their graves only have them
We have each other's names.
