This is a true to life story that happened to me. Enjoy reading and I hope you'll find this valuable!

One morning, my sister and I were getting ready for school, while our mother was busy cleaning our house. I decided to comb my hair, but I couldn't find my comb.

"Has anybody seen my comb?"I asked no one in particular. But then, no one paid any attention to what I had just asked, as if I were asking the wind. So I looked everywhere, but found nothing. I got annoyed and turned to my sister. I looked at her in an accusing way and asked. "Len, have you seen my comb?"

My sister caught the look on my face and glared at me. "Are you accusing me that I'm the one who used your comb?" The anger was evident in her voice.

"You're the one who said that, not me!"

Ignoring my comment, she said. "Don't you dare accuse me without a proof!"

I lost my patience and before I realized the error of what I was about to say, I already said it. "Why not? Who else might use it, if you're the only person in our house who use things without asking permission to the owner!"

"Shut up!" anger flickered in the eyes of my sister. "I said I didn't use your comb!"

Suddenly, our mother appeared from behind and said. "Enough!" an expression of disapproval on her face.

We both fell silent. Chastised.

Then, Mother turned her attention to me and handed me a comb. "Use my comb and hurry up, you two are already late."

When I was finished, we both went to school in silence and sometimes exchanging stern glances.

Earlier that evening, when I was cleaning my drawer, I saw a glimpse of a dark-colored object behind an envelope. Slowly, I moved aside the thing and suddenly felt contrite when I saw my comb. Then, I asked for forgiveness from my sister.

"Oh, I found it. Sorry for the accusation I threw at you," I said in a remorseful tone.

"I should hope you're truly sorry now," her voice was full of sarcasm.

Moral Lesson: The problem may not be with the other one as we always think, could be very much within us!
