It's been years since I last updated this story and since I was last active in Wattpad. (Actually, I forgot my password. But thanks to my email address, I regained access.) I was busy in school (still am actually), and when I had finally gained freedom for a while from college stress, I suddenly decided to visit my Wattpad account. I was surprised to discover that I have accumulated quite a number of followers! Imagine that! Haha!
I found a story that inspired me and I want to share it with you. So here's an update. I hope you'll like it.

Anna was a 9-year-old girl from a small village. She finished attending elementary school until 4th grade at her village. For her 5th grade, she needed to transfer school, that's why she would have to get an admission in a school at a city nearby. She was very happy knowing that she got accepted in a very reputed school in the city.
Today was the first day of her school and she was patiently waiting for her school bus. Once the bus came, she got in it quickly. She was very excited, although she started school a few days late.
Once the bus reached her school, all the students started going to their classes. Anna also made it to her classroom after asking fellow students for direction. Upon seeing her simple clothing and knowing she is from a small village, the other students started making fun of her. The teacher soon arrived and she asked everyone to keep quiet. She introduced Anna to the class and told them that she would be studying with them from now on. The other students just shrugged ang exchanged disgusted looks.
Then, the teacher told the students to be ready because she would give a surprise test! She told everyone to write down the 7 wonders of the world. Everyone started writing the answer quickly. With some hesitation, Anna started to write her answer slowly.
When everyone, except Anna, had submitted their answer paper, the teacher came to Anna and asked, "What happened Dear? Don't worry. Just write down what you know as the other students have learned about it just a couple of days back".
Anna replied, "I was thinking that there are so many things to write, but I have to pick only a few" And then, she handed her answer paper to the teacher. The teacher started reading aloud everyone's answers, and the majority had answered them correctly, such as: The Great Wall of China, Colosseum, Stonehedge, Great Pyramid of Giza, Leaning Tower of Pisa, Tajmahal, Hanging Gardens of Babylon, etc.
The teacher was very pleased that the students remembered what she had taught them. At last, the teacher picked up Anna's answer paper and started reading it with the same enthusiastic voice.
"The 7 Wonders are - To be able to See, To be able to Hear, To be able to Feel, To Laugh, To Think, To be Kind, To Love!"
The teacher stood stunned and the whole class was speechless. That day, a girl from a small village reminded them about the precious gifts that god has given us, which are truly a wonder.
Moral: Treasure what you have, use what you have, trust what you have. You don't always have to look away to find an inspiration. God has given you all the strength to reach your goals. Just trust in Him.

Did you like the story? I hope so. Although, I was a bit disappointed with the teacher for giving a surprise quiz knowing she has a new student. She's a bit insensetive, don't you think? Haha. ;)Have a good day!
