Hana
My life wasn't like any other life. I grew up around darkness, chaos, and war masquerading in beauty. Believe me, you wouldn't want to live here. I may live happily here, but a lot of problems happen here...okay so I was exaggerating about the whole 'war and chaos' but the darkness part is true! You'll know in due time.
My name is Hana Kokkaku, and I was born in the world of Triforia. Anyways, you're about to find out more about my background. Just follow me along the journey of my life, and all your questions will be answered. My father's a reaper. At least that's what his species is called. He's not the reaper, but he is a reaper. This type of reaper has absolutely nothing to do with death. It's just an ancient name. And there are more than just reapers in Triforia, because Triforia is the centre of all existing realms. Therefore, almost everything lives here. Elves, dragons, fairies, you name 'em, they're there. Each living thing has a power of their own here in Triforia. You know, all the magical stuff and the like. Some people may also have dual abilities, which all of Triforia praises, it's really annoying. I guess it can't be helped that they don't know about me and my friends anyways. Yes, we all have dual abilities like the rest of this world, but there's one thing we all share that no one else has, and that's the power of creating portals. Besides, I like being in the shadows and 'un-praised' by the world, it's more time with just me and my friends. Oh! I almost forgot! You know how most wizards and magical people have their animal sidekick? Well. I have a dragon. And she isn't like any other dragon. In fact. I'd say her and I are equal, which is why she chose me, although. It's not just that, we are the same in many ways, sometimes I think she's me in the form of a dragon. I call her Seashadow. Because she's a beautiful black dragon, with bits of silver scales scattered underneath her wings, along with purple and blue scales scattered on her body. She also has a pair of gills on each side of her neck, and some glowing purple marks along the side of her belly, and by her eyes. She also has spikes along her neck and going down her body to her tail that are webbed, and gray, along with a silver scale right behind her eyes that resemble a teardrop. Due to this look of hers, I like to say she's a Nightwing crossed with a Seawing. That's why I call her Seashadow. Did I mention she can change her size? Well, she can. She can also read minds. Which I think is very cool. What's that? How do I know she can read minds? Let's see...I was thinking of asking Seashadow for a flight ride, then all of a sudden I get scooped up onto her back and into the sky we go. And that was right after I thought about asking her. It sucks though, 'cause I don't understand or speak the dragon language. Anyways, I suppose you want to know some things about me. Well, my hair is brown, and when I use my powers I get a stripe of purple hair along my left side. My eye colour is also a bit strange because, one is green while the other is purple, and that would be my left eye. Normally I cover my left eye with my hair, but Kiba and Leo keep sliding it back behind my ear saying that there's no need to cover up my face when it's beautiful the way it is, so I just don't bother anymore. It's become a habit for me to brush my hair out of my face due to those two boys. Because of this, my cousin Violet, an my two friends, Sky and Nishi, all laugh. And I'm just left there in a blushy mess. Then of course I end up play-fighting with the boys because they won't shut up!
"Okay okay, break it up," Nishi interrupted, "I think you three have had enough," She sighed with a smile. So I gave the two boys one last push and stepped away. "I'm sorry you missed out on the fun Seashadow," I said to my dragon as I poked her little nose playfully, and all she gave me in return was a stubborn dragon 'huff' of steam from her nostrils. "I said I was sorry you stubborn sea slug!" I smiled as I yelled at her apologetically. "Look what you did you two, Seashadow didn't get to have any fun and now she's upset," I complained half teasing to both Kiba and Leo, "That's not on us," Kiba said as he pointed at his sister, "Nishi, why'd you stop us? Seashadow was about to join the riot," I teasingly asked her, "You guys really don't want a bigger riot, would you? Key word 'big'," Nishi questioned us all, "But that would've been fun," I replied. "For me, no," said Nishi, "But you usually like tackling us," I said again, "That's because it's just us, not with fire breathing dragons—you know what, forget it," she finished and pushed us all to the ground. "Why am I a part of this?" Sky asked, straightening herself up after being pushed to the ground, "Good question Sky. Maybe ask yourself why you came here in the first place," I said, teasing her. "Because you forced me here you moron! You dragged me out of my own bedroom!" Sky yelled, I mean she does it all the time...I am an idiot after all. "Did I also mention I didn't even get to drink my tea!?" She continued, "Well I didn't. No thanks to you," she finished, "Sheesh Sky, calm down. I'm sorry I dragged you here. In fact, I forgot I even did that," I apologized to Sky as I'm giggling.
Finally our little fight ended, we're all out of it now. "Ow...my knee's burned...thanks a lot Seashadow!" I yell at her, and she just gives me her adorable dragon eyes, "Why is it so hard to stay mad at you?~" I ask my dragon while petting her head, "It's no surprise," said Sky, "Shut up!" I yell at Sky and give her a little shove, and she just shoves me back with a little more force. "Hey! That was unnecessary," I said, "Says the Naruto addict," remarked Sky, "Shush," was all I said back, "I stand corrected," she said again. "What about me?" Violet raised her hand, "You have no permission to forget me!" She yelled plaufully, and started slapping everyone for no reason at all. "Well sooorry! You're the one that never said anything this entire time, all you did was laugh at me," I explained, "It was funny," Violet giggled, "Haha, now go find your brother." I start opening a portal. "Hey hey hey! I'm spending the night remember!?" Violet yelled at me, "Whoops...heh," I close the portal, "I forgot about that, sorry," I laugh nervously. "I take it the rest of you are spending the night?" I ask, "All but one," Leo said as he opened a portal and walked through, "Later," he disappeared into the green void of his portal. "Guess that means you're the only boy Kiba," I said with a little grin, "Wasn't Ghost coming over?" Kiba questioned, "Once again, I say whoops. I...almost forgot about him too," I scratched the back of my neck, "Better get him then." I opened a portal and Ghost came flying in, and everyone started laughing, while I just gave a little snort, "Haha, very funny indeed Hana," Ghost said after straightening himself from being face planted in the grass. "Well I didn't feel like taking the long way, or go looking for you, so I brought you here instead," I explained, "Also. What were you doing? 'Cause whatever you were doing could've been the reason you face planted in the grass," I asked, trying not to snort.
