will groaned in defeat, sprawling across the couch with a low and heavy sigh. the day's recordings were done, finally, and he and george were quite ready to settle down for the night. their shared flat was often quiet in the evening, since alex would always run out to do 'errands' with james, yet will and george has no trouble deciphering the fact that was definitely not the case. however, george and will weren't complaining, as the comfortable silence helped relieve the stress and headaches collected over the course of the day.

"hmmm, what if we got married?" george asked suddenly and drowsily, not lifting his head up. he was currently on his stomach, his face mashed into the embroidered couch cushions.

will was quick to respond to this, slightly flustered from stress and embarrassment, but he mostly was confused. "eh?" he asked, prompting george to lift his head finally.

"i said," george grumbled, raising his voice a tad, articulating his every word just to irk will. "what if we got married? ironically, though. we could act like we're dating to mess with the others."

upon realizing this was just one of george's elaborate pranks, will rolled his eyes with a huff, no sign of being impressed present in his tone. however, he wasn't quite sure if it was a huff of relief or one of sorrow. "ah well, so you mean we fake a relationship?"

to that george simply nodded, a smile growing on his face. "ad revenue is low, i can see the cpm now!" (a/n don't post youtube videos, none of that probably made any sense sorry)

at that, will simply facepalmed, a wide grin on his face. he couldn't really argue with that logic. "let's do it then. i gotta get back at alex anyways for that time he was a total prick at the chinese place." ah, the dragon lair chinese restaurant incident. we do not discuss that.

george smiled confidently, commencing a firm handshake between himself and the other male. "then it's settled. fake a relationship and mess with the lads!"

and so the two's reign of absolute terror began...
