"GET UP CHAR!" I heard my mom yell. For being a tiny little Filipino lady, she sure do have a big mouth. I groaned flipping my sheets off of my body. I'm not rich, and I'm far from it. Me and my mom live in a small apartment, two bed rooms two bath rooms. My dad left my mom when I was around three years old. I don't wanna talk about it.
I trudged to my bathroom yanking out my tooth brush and Crest tooth paste. I brushed my teeth while cutting on my shower water. I put my tooth brush up and hopped into the shower letting the cool water hit my bare skin. Ten minutes later I got out of the shower and put on my undergarments followed by some black skinny jeans and a red and black plaid button up shirt and all black vans.
I pulled my tangled hair into a high pony tail. I grabbed my back pack and walked down my hallway checking the time on my iPhone 4. "Chardonnay!" My mom called out.
"Yes mommy?" I asked looking for her. I found her in the kitchen drinking a glass of water.
"I'm going to be coming home late today." She said placing her glass in the sink. "You could invite a friend over." She continued. I rolled my eyes grabbing my skate board which was by the door and my head phones from off of the counter.
"Mom, I don't need friends. They're just a waist of time." I told my mom before grabbing my keys and pecking her cheek. "See you later, Mommy." I said before exiting the house.
I hopped on my skateboard and skated the full block to school. Kennedy High School. It's just a lousy name to me. I entered the school on my skateboard passing Principle Smith. He grabbed my arm pulling me off of my skateboard. "Behave today Miss. Cortez. Understand?" He asked. I stared blankly at him.
"What---Everrrrr!" I said stretching out the 'Ever'. I grabbed my board just to be stopped again.
"Miss. Cortez, we will have new students today Attending Kennedy High, and I would like you to show them around." He started.
"Nahh, I'm good I have better things to do." I told him walking off to my locker. Oh yes, my locker, this place between the Blonde Barbies. The Barbies consist of Kathrine, Whinney, Brittney, and Carly.
I twisted in my combination and opened my locker. It immediately shut closed. I groaned to see Kathrine. "Yes?" I asked her. "Is there a Problem?" She plastered a fake smile on her Face.
"Yes there is a problem, you." I cocked my eyebrow and stepped forward in her face.
"Yeah, well you wanna solve that problem?" I asked. Kathrine pushed me back.
"You can't do nothing. Bitch." She giggled with her little click. I grabbed her head and bashed it against my locker.
"Stop fucking with me." I said before turning around only to be met with Principle Smith's gaze.
"Chardonnay, My office now!" He gritted between his teeth. I rolled my eyes and walked towards his office with unbeatable glares. As I entered his office, I saw four boys sitting in his chairs leaving me to stand. Principle Smith shut his door and sat down behind his desk. "Excuse me boys while I handle her first." They all nodded. "Chardonnay, you have caused too many fights at this school!" He yelled. I stuck my hand up.
"No I didn't cause shit." The boys turned to me with wide eyes. They were kinda cute i have to admit but my attention focused back on Principle Smith.
"Char, I love you like my own daughter." He said. I frowned my eyebrows.
"I didn't have a father then, what makes you think I want one now?" I asked him. He sighed and tapped a pen on the desk.
"You know Chardonnay, I could suspend you." I leaned on his wall with my arms folded across my chest.
"Then why don't you?" I asked a little annoyed now.
"I have something else in mind." He smiled. "Chardonnay meet Rayan, Chresanto, Craig, and Jacob. You will be showing them around school each one of them have at least one class period with you." He continued. "You do this, or get a 2 week suspension." He said leaning back into his chair.
I looked at the boys who were grinning at me. I can't show them around school. I liked back at Principle Smith. "I'll take the 2 week suspension." I spat.
"What, your only interested in girls?" On of the guys said I believe the one with the two braids. he cause the rest of the boys to laugh. "Dyke or Stud?" He laughed. I grabbed one of his braids and yanked him out of his chair onto the floor. That shut him and the boys up.
"Cortez stop!" I heard Principle Smith say. I groaned and sat down in Two braids seat. "I meant to correct myself. Be their guide or be expelled, your pick." I stared at him in disbelief. I then groaned and got out of the seat walking out of his office.
"COME ON!" I shouted to the boys. They all came out snickering like the jackasses they seemed to be.
