"I can smell the weed on you"

Yashita's Pov

I groaned as I heard banging on my wooden bedroom door, my 'mother' was yelling at me to wake up, I was going to be, yet again late to school. I really didn't care, but she did. So I forced myself out of bed and opened the door.

"What?" I said clearly annoyed and sleepy, being out all night with my so-called friends had it's a toll on me "get ready for the school day! You're going to be late!" She yelled in my face and whispered just under her breath 'you the disappointment of a child' I sighed and smiled at her, the fakest smile I could muster up, "I know" I said and slammed the door.

I put my school uniform on loosely not giving a fuck about how it looks. I smiled a little and put on my knee high socks and shoes, walking out with a lighter in my hand. My 'Mother' tried to take it out of my hand but I pulled it away from her reach "ahahah, my addiction, not yours" I said and walked out of the 3 story house to school.

My friends had yet to get to school, I was early today, a very rare occasion, so with my free time I went to the library, just kidding, I was going around the building to smoke a joint. I pulled the small pipe up to my mouth and started lightning up the green grass. I sucked in the smoke and puffed it out. I smiled to myself and put the items back into my bag.

I walked back around and saw my druggies. I laughed a little to myself 'Druggies' was what we called ourselves as an inside joke. I walked over to them lazily. "Hey guys" I said. Todd, Josh, Mia, Iris, and Toby looked at me and smiled. I had a fairly large group you could say. I was happy with all of them. Iris walked up to me and slung her arm around my shoulders "is that a joint I smell on you?" I looked at her and winked "you know it sista" I said.

The entire group started laughing together. I grabbed a small bag of chips out of my bag and started munching. You see my school was super protective of what was allowed in it so they would go through our bags in the morning and afternoons so I always brought a bag of chips. After I finished I grabbed the blunt out again and dropped it into the bag and sealed it with the lighter. I then dug up a small hole for the lighter to go into. You see they weren't allowed to get into your stuff like chip bags.

We heard the bell ring and we all went inside. Instantly we saw familiar faces. Ashlynn, Aisslyn, and Avery. The triple A's the bitchs of the school really. They glared at as. Avery was the pretty one, Aisslyn was the smart one and Ashlynn was the leader. They were your basic mean girls that you never expected to actually exist but they do. "So now the druggies show up" Ashlynn snorted a little same with her little possie we all just kinda smirked and responded "ya know it"

We as the druggies all had a role.
Todd was the main brains, Iris was the flirt, Josh was the badass, Mia was the beauty in us all who saw the best in all of us, and Toby was the child like one, I, well I was the Wit and the main leader. Together we all really were all alike but that's what people saw us as first. It was funny to see their reaction to us. Aisslyn sneered at us and smiled "do you smell anything funny Ashlynn?" Ashlynn smirked like and evil witch and said "yeah.... I think it was failure!" She said with a fake smile and surprised expression.

"Well you might just be smelling your upper lip because all I smell here is fake snobs." They all scoffed at us and walked away all sassy like. We soon all had to split up. My bag was searched and then I was sent to class. I just sat in my seat and stared out the window, soon enough I saw smoke Rise into the air. I just smiled at the thought of Todd standing outside taking a huge hit. Me and Todd both had the biggest addiction to weed. Honestly I was proud of that title.

Soon enough class was over and I met up with the gang again for the 5 minute break between classes, the first person I saw was Todd as he was entering the building you could tell he was high, if you knew him that was. Todd was subtle about things like that and could walk a straight line high as a motherfucker. The Mia and Iris came into view, and eventually Josh and Toby. Josh had his arm around Toby. They were the cutest couple ever, and no one in school could deny that no matter how much they hated our group.

Me and Todd waved and everyone met up, we decided to go to the roof real quick to take a hit, luckily Todd always had a lighter with him and never got caught with it so I opened the bag and took out the pipe and grass in the small baggie, Mia wasn't huge on weed but smoked it every other day or so, she was pure or at least as pure as you get being part of the druggie group. I smiled as I handed her the pipe, she took a fat hit which made the group snicker and giggle at her, then me and Josh finished off the rest. No doubt I smelt like weed I had Josh and Mia spray me down with different perfumes. I did a twirl and had Toby sniff me a bit to make sure I didn't smell to strongly of it anymore, closing the bag and handing the lighter to Todd we made it back to class this time only 3 minutes late, my bag got checked and everything was fine.

Classes were boring and the group all had things to do this passing period so I went over to the library, it was quite and would allow me to rest my head, weed made me super tired after a high rush of energy, heh high, I went to an empty table and placed my arms and head on it sitting down comfortably, that was until a stack of books was slammed down a few seats away from me, making me jump, I snapped my head up and glared at the shy looking girl who had surrounded herself if different types of books. "Hey watch it you crazy-" She looked up at me and I was at a loss of words. She was gorgeous. "Ugh, just never mind" She hid behind her books no doubt embarrassed.

I sighed and moved the 4 seats she was away from me and tapped her shoulder, she jumped at first but soon relaxed, "um... S-sorry" She said, her voice was timid and cute, it fit her look, she had crystal blue eyes and porcelain skin, she had a pair of thick framed glasses, her lips a soft pink color, her face dusted with a light pink. Her dirty blonde hair falling around her face perfectly. She was perfect. Almost to perfect, it was to much so I went and waved a dismissive hand telling her not was alright and that big was just tired. I was fine until she leaned into my ear, her hot breath noticeable on my ear as she whispered "I can smell the weed on you" I chuckled and nodded my head at her, "that I am, very high" She pushed a strand of hair behind her ear and smiled lightly, god I was falling for her.
