"VICTOR, MYSTORAS!" THE COMMENTATOR announced. The prince had defeated another senior knight — the last opponent he'd face before he battled against his very own father and Knight King.
"Now it's your turn father!" Mystras proclaimed and outwardly thrusted his weapon in the king's direction, "If I defeat you then I'll be free!"
Despite the astonished murmurs spreading among the entire guard of knights, the inscrutable expression — almost as stony as Masumi's appearance — engraved on Darius's face did not falter at his son's challenge. He simply nodded, an indication of his readiness to battle, and the commentator began to declare their fight.
"Apprentice Knight, Mystras Leoxes. Knight King, Darius Leoxes. Here now under God's dogma, a fair match commence... BEGIN!"
Mystras pounced to attack first. His spear swiftly stabbed at Darius, but the king evaded the thrust with ease. Before his father could counteract, the prince quickly attacked again, again and again; the assaults never slowed, his spear blearing into a blurry sight to the eyes of the audience.
Among the astonished crowd of knights, Sinbad's crew inspected with admiration. They watched Mystras fight, his eyes blazing with fierce will power and teeth gritting determinedly. He certainly was not holding back.
After unleashing relentless hell upon his father, Mystras finally halted his attacks, Darius remained unfazed. "It seems that you have acquired some skills that you can boast about," He admitted, "However, I'll just send your attack straight back at you."
"Shut your mouth!" Mystras lunged, his spear outstretched. Darius lifted his own spear in front of him. "Strike back, Alloces!" He chanted.
Upon his weapon, the sacred symbol of an eight-pointed star glowed gloriously like the heavens, and right before Mystras could land his hit, Darius summoned a magical barrier, it's divine yellow light shielding the king from harm. Once Mystras met contact with the unnatural force, his attack reversed onto himself and he was flung backwards into a wall, a deafening crash echoing from the collision.
Sinbad and his crew could only wince while they spectated and stood among the audience, who began to stir after the king's attack. As the murmurs were shared through the guard of knights, Masumi's ears perked up at curiously.
