They say that this is a perfect square day. For me, it was more so a round and undefined sort of day. But still a little perfect maybe. Andrew. 6 letters and another perfect square. Maybe a lot of perfect went along with him. It was the day I fell in love for the first time. It was the day that my heart was snared in the tightest of fishing nets. It was a day that started off so dully and ended up being the brighest star in the mini universe of my memories.
It was another hated Monday near the beginning of my school year. I had just gone through a rough test and a rough beating from your sereotypical bully. That's not important though. I mean, not important other than the fact that I was sitting up in this big oak tree right off the border of school property and crying. Not important other than the fact that that was the moment when I was startled so badly that I nearly fell off of my pitisome perch. I remember his first words to me, "Hey, miss? Are you alright?" He had so politely called me miss which may have been half my shock other than hearing someone actually speak to me with kindness in the last seven hours of that hellhole, Emert Academy. And with all these reasons, I jumped, hit my head on another branch and just barely caught myself before I teetered off the edge of my somewhat small branch. "Hey, hey! Don't hurt yourself! I just wanted to see if you're okay." I slipped out of the tree somewhat dizzily and he took my arm gently. "You're looking a bit shaken up. Do you want to talk about it?" I nodded even though I didn't even know his name yet. I nodded, maybe because he looked so perfect. "I'm Mia." He wrapped his arm around me in a friendly way and smiled. "Nice to meet you, my name is Andrew. Have I told you that I am great at making sad people laugh?"
I laughed.
