It was a chilly, October night when I met him. His soft brown eyes and gentle smile lured me into his arms, and there, I found warmth. He was the sweetest person I had ever met, and something about him was alluring and there was a force between us that was stronger than a magnet. Where had he been all of my life; and where has he gone? My first true love was amazing and still holds a place in my heart a year later. I'm not in love with him anymore but I'm still fond of the memories that we shared, all of the conversations, all of the laughter, the good times, the bad, it's all there, replaying constantly. What did I do wrong? Why did he leave? Could I've changed his mind? What was he thinking? Those two years were the most magical years in my life and I wouldn't trade them for anything. I learned that nothing lasts forever, no matter how much you want it. I learned that the best can come from the worst. And most importantly, I learned that true love exists. It's out there. Waiting.....

Her pictures start to fade Quite slowly on her arm Will the blood not race through her? Will she no longer do harm? A long time ago there lived two children. Both spent their days roaming the halls of the palace. One a measly servant boy and one a beautiful young princess. Both never to be seen together, both the best of friends. For the best of me movie contest please vote or at least read!!!!! <3

A prince charming, a damsel in distress, talking animals for best friends and living happily ever after...none of that in this story. This is not a fairy tale. Although it was a story that happened to me once upon a time. Before Jim came into my life "again" I never felt incomplete and didn’t have an urge of looking for a "mate". I was 22 but I was not panicking. I have a degree, stable job, loving family and friends. I’m happy and contented with life. Or so I thought.

"Because the day you break my heart, will be the day you kill me," I say as tears start running down my face. "Well, we better not let that happen". He brings his hand up to my face, caressing my cheek. He flashes his cheeky smile before kissing me on the forehead ________________ He's my first love, and hopefully my last. From the very first day to the last, we were inseparable. And for the days on, I will never forget- my first.

After Laura gets back from her conference. She is still thinking about Tanner. A cute guy who can play up to her level.
