Emily Trends was in the darkest part of her life and didn't know which path to take when unexpectedly, she had to leave and move to another city with her family and there she meets a younger boy who gives back her self-confidence and self-worth. An entry I wrote for The Best of Me Movie Contest.

"I love you," he says holding my hands in his. "You better not be joshin' with me". "Why the heck would you think that?" "Because the day you break my heart, will be the day you kill me," I say as tears start running down my face. "Well, we better not let that happen". He brings his hand up to my face, caressing my cheek. He flashes his cheeky smile before kissing me on the forehead ________________ He's my first love, and hopefully my last. From the very first day to the last, we were inseparable. And for the days on, I will never forget- my first.

My story is based on a young girl by the name of Ruby. In the story she is portrayed as a young girl that's never been in love. Her parents have basicallu convinced her to believe that happiness comes from having an education in life and nothing more. She was raised to believe that love was simply a silly illusion and that it could solve nothing in life, but that all soon changed the day Seth walked into Ruby's life. In my story it show how true love feels like. Hope you all enjoy it!
