It was a chilly, October night when I met him. His soft brown eyes and gentle smile lured me into his arms, and there, I found warmth. He was the sweetest person I had ever met, and something about him was alluring and there was a force between us that was stronger than a magnet. Where had he been all of my life; and where has he gone? My first true love was amazing and still holds a place in my heart a year later. I'm not in love with him anymore but I'm still fond of the memories that we shared, all of the conversations, all of the laughter, the good times, the bad, it's all there, replaying constantly. What did I do wrong? Why did he leave? Could I've changed his mind? What was he thinking? Those two years were the most magical years in my life and I wouldn't trade them for anything. I learned that nothing lasts forever, no matter how much you want it. I learned that the best can come from the worst. And most importantly, I learned that true love exists. It's out there. Waiting.....

So here's my story. I hope I get at least somewhere in the contest. :) I never finished it but heyyyyy it has a cliffhanger.

My story is based on a young girl by the name of Ruby. In the story she is portrayed as a young girl that's never been in love. Her parents have basicallu convinced her to believe that happiness comes from having an education in life and nothing more. She was raised to believe that love was simply a silly illusion and that it could solve nothing in life, but that all soon changed the day Seth walked into Ruby's life. In my story it show how true love feels like. Hope you all enjoy it!

When faced with images of the first love that has haunted her for years, will she break all over again for the boy she tragically lost?

This is a true love story. It isn't about me, but it is about a very close friend of mine. Please be aware that it is a sad love story. It was very hard to sum up her first love and their story in one chapter with only 1,500 words, but I tried my best. Travis is the funniest, but most cuddly person I know. He's sweet but still a terd. He steals my car and makes me climb in through the sun roof or sit on the hood while he drives. He hides in my trunk and scares me, throws me into ponds, lays on top of me, and gave me a batman build-a-bear for my birthday :) I am not good with feelings because I always get hurt, but I have to admit -I love this boy with his bright green eyes and infectious personality.
