A prince charming, a damsel in distress, talking animals for best friends and living happily ever after...none of that in this story. This is not a fairy tale. Although it was a story that happened to me once upon a time. Before Jim came into my life "again" I never felt incomplete and didn’t have an urge of looking for a "mate". I was 22 but I was not panicking. I have a degree, stable job, loving family and friends. I’m happy and contented with life. Or so I thought.

So here's my story. I hope I get at least somewhere in the contest. :) I never finished it but heyyyyy it has a cliffhanger.

"So do you think you could trick Farrah into falling in love with you, AND then getting in bed with you?" Charlie asked. "Do I think, Charlie I know so. She won't be able to resist me...no one can." And, even now, after I've let go I still occasionally think of him. I let go, and I'm a coward for never telling him, but my feelings would have only been of hindrance for him. It was a chilly, October night when I met him. His soft brown eyes and gentle smile lured me into his arms, and there, I found warmth. He was the sweetest person I had ever met, and something about him was alluring and there was a force between us that was stronger than a magnet. Where had he been all of my life; and where has he gone? My first true love was amazing and still holds a place in my heart a year later. I'm not in love with him anymore but I'm still fond of the memories that we shared, all of the conversations, all of the laughter, the good times, the bad, it's all there, replaying constantly. What did I do wrong? Why did he leave? Could I've changed his mind? What was he thinking? Those two years were the most magical years in my life and I wouldn't trade them for anything. I learned that nothing lasts forever, no matter how much you want it. I learned that the best can come from the worst. And most importantly, I learned that true love exists. It's out there. Waiting.....
