You were waiting for your boyfriend Juho in front of the mall. He was finishing with practice early and wanted to take you out on a date.
You were scrolling through your phone when someone tapped your shoulder. You turned around and saw your ex boyfriend. Your relationship didn't end well. He cheated on you and then tried to play the victim.
You glared at him.
"What?"
He smirked.
"Still alone? Oh, baby, no wonder. That's why I cheated. You are so boring."
You felt hurt, your eyes watering.
You felt hands around your tummy, pulling you closer to their chest.
"No, you cheated because you were stupid. No one in their right mind would cheat on this wonderful woman. She is so much more. I guess you were too stupid to see it but I did. And I'm glad I did. She is the best thing that happened to me. So the next time you tried talking trash about her I'll deal with you my way."
Your ex went away, scared of your tall boyfriend.
You turned to him and smiled softly.
"Thank you."
Juho smiled, pulling you in a hug.
"Of course, doll. Did you wait long?"
You shook your head as he laced your fingers together.
"Let's go."
