CHAPTER 3

(Y/n)s pov

The next morning I smelled the stench of salty iron 'blood' I shot up from my cot with my (h/l) in a bundle of frizz and tangles, I grabbed my brush and brushed my hair taring the knots out of my hair and running into kieth's room. I found him sprawled on his mattress half asleep with a cut on his hand " dad?" I asked quietly while pulling Kieth up while grabbing a handkerchief and bandaging his hand " I am not your dad kid just Keith" he said in his average tone. " Also I know you aren't familiar with the outside world or anything and I told you to stay away from humans other than me and uncle Boris but the RIS might need your assistance with a case". Kieth said bluntly while getting up lazily " what kind of case?" I asked trying to keep my excitement in my mind so I don't piss Kieth off by acting like a five year old.

" murder another crime happened this morning and it involves a poisoning since you are practically a living weapon and have the power of (power of choice) you may be useful in this mission" Kieth stated bluntly. I felt excited as I ran into the closet to get something nice on so I look at least decent. " don't get to excited kid it's just a party your going to and act normal since there will be other agents there with you in the building" Kieth said again in his normal tone as I started tugging the knots out of my hair and with a wetted (f/c) hair brush. " you know what to do in every situation and how to prevent those situations so bottom line don't be a smart ass". Kieth said as I giggled a little bit at his concern for my safety ever through he pretends he doesn't.

(Koku's POV)
The sound of careful sound of soft carving and the gentle sound of the news played in the background as I gently carved the curvy body of the brass coloured violin. I continued carving till a news report made me tune in about a charity party happening at the legacy palace and the mayor is making an appearance while a police investigation is happening. ' this is a perfect opportunity for someone to deliver a fatality to the mayor, but more importantly if more higher class individuals are going then the queens guard will be going. They must have (y/n)' I thought to myself. I thought as I used my blade to cut the palm of my hand, it didn't hurt or anything but I think I went a little overboard as I looked at the cut gushing a red iron liquid.

I made a hiss in pain as I clench my hand " what happened?" Mr hoshina said in concern " sorry I accidentally nicked myself". " you cut yourself pretty deep didn't you?". Kia asked while tying a white rag around my injured hand. I looked down at my hand to see my plasma increase soaking the rag " that looks like a lot of blood ,go ask my wife drive you to the hospital immediately " mr hoshina asked while straightening his glasses. " I am fine honestly I swear" I said softly while holding my bandaged hand to my chest. " then why don't you just pack it up and go, then you don't have to bother coming back here either". Kia said bluntly as I stood up " HEY don't say it like we are kicking him out idiot !" Mr hoshina yelled. " I didn't mean like that why do you have to be such an obnoxious old fart!" Kia shot back. As they continued their fighting I made my way to the door quietly with my coat in hand and said softly " good night I will be going now" and I closed the door.

(Y/n)s pov
I stood in the glorious ball room beside Mario a lot of people in the RIS knew of me and my abilities since uncle Borris would bring me to work sometimes, except lily because she wasn't in the force yet but Kieth didn't want anyone else knowing of my existence it's just to dangerous. But I was always like a little sister to everyone. " I know it's your first mission princess, there's no need to be so nervous". Mario said while jokingly ruffling my hair " I am a little nervous but I am not peeing in my slacks" I said jokingly as I stuck my tongue out at Mario. We both laughed at each other but we were both interrupted by a monstrous growl in our ear pieces " lily your not eating are you?" I asked " I swear I am not" lily said who I can tell is marvelling at the huge spread of food. " well keep it under control will ya that doesn't even sound human" Mario said while looking around the perimeter " well the mic is in a bad spot" lily said while frowning and crossing her arms.

" cut the arguing guys" I said while looking around seeing a girl in a kimono dressed as a geisha with her fragile looking face caked in makeup. Everyone marvelled at her in awe but something about her just looked familiar I just couldn't put my finger on it.
