Y/N's pov

Jackson let's out a terrified scream scaring Mark. I rush over to him and shut the door toothbrush still in my mouth. He stops screaming and looks at me in fear.

"D-Did you just see what was in there?"

"Umm..."

"There was a BEAR Y/N A BEAR!"

"Yes his name is Woojin. He's very sweet."  I say putting my toothbrush on my dresser.

"Oh okay I guess it's okay if it has a name. Oh wait! It's still a creature that can rip you to shreds!"

"First of all, he's a bear cub so he can't rip me to shreds and if he were going to he would have done that by now."

"So are we just gonna gloss over the fact that Y/N brought nine, possibly diseased and most definitely illegal animals into the house all by himself?" Mark interrupted.

"You were supposed to be on my side!" I whine.

"How can I be on your side when you brought nine illegal, diseased, animals into the house?!"

"Ha! Marks on my side now! How does it feel Y/N? How does it feel?" Jackson mocks.

"No," Mark turns from me to Jackson with a glare, "I'm not on your side either. You took Y/N to a party and left him alone, which led to him leaving on his own which in turn led him to bring the animals home. On top of that it took you longer than 24 hours to figure out he had the animals despite going into his room multiple times."

We try to come up with something but fail, hanging our heads in defeat. Mark on the other hand smiling triumphantly down at us.

"I am on my own side, the right side, and now you guys have to figure things out."

"Obviously, Y/N has to get rid of the animals." Jackson huffs.

"No way!" I shout, crossing my arms, "They aren't going any where besides, Mark, both you and I know something very important. That something being the reason we can't do that."

"Y/N, we have to get rid of them you can't keep that many animals and if any one found out you would be arrested and they would be taken away any way." Mark tries to reason.

I don't understand. He knows they're hybrids I told him. Does he not believe me? He acted like he did at the mall. I look at him confused.

"Mark, I told you they aren't normal animals."

He looks at me like I'm a child who still believes in Santa, smiling sadly, "Y/Nie there's no such thing as hybrids. You know that."

His condescending tone hurts me even though I know he didn't mean it that way. I frown and shake my head.

"I knew you wouldn't have believed me. I don't even know why I tried."

His sad smile turns into a pained expression as he pulls me into a hug, "I'm sorry. I know you want to keep the animals but I'm worried about you. Having those creatures could bring you so much harm and I don't want you to get hurt."

I sigh rolling my eyes, "I could just show you that they're hybrids you know."

"Y/N! That's enough!" Jackson yells out of nowhere making me jump.

"What?"

"This isn't a K-drama or Anime where magical beings exist those are animal who were most likely brought to this country illegally and are in real danger. I thought you were smarter than this. You're acting like a child." Jackson scolds.
