mine

I got ready for school putting the dream in the back of my head hoping to forget about it. Once I got to school I texted Taehyung like I did every morning to meet up so we could walk together.

Text~

Minah- Good morning Tae Tae! Did you sleep well? Where are we meeting up today?
Taehyung- Good morning Minnie! I slept very well and you? Also we are meeting up at the cafe today.
Minah- I slept well too:) And I'll see you there soon! 💜
Taehyung- 💜

I lied. I don't sleep so great. But I don't want to worry him since he cares so much for me. I made my way over to the cafe. It was only a 5 minute walk so it didn't take long for me to get there. Walking through the doors I saw Tae on his phone. I quickly walked over to the table.

Minah- "hey Tae!"
Taehyung- "hey! Have a seat I already ordered."
Minah-"ok"

I went on my phone while we waited for our drinks to be served. While scrolling through social media I felt as if someone was staring at me. I look up to see Tae with his hands holding his head as he stares at me. I couldn't help but blush a little. He really did know how to make me blush.

Minah- "why are you staring at me?"
Taehyung-"I'm simply admiring your face"
Minah-"but why?"
Taehyung-"why not?"

Our conversation got interrupted when the waitress came with our drinks. We kindly accepted the drinks and headed out the door to make our way to school. Tae pulled out his earbuds and handed me one. When we walk to school we enjoy listening to music. We took turns everyday with who gets to play music. Today was his day and he played instagram by dean. I really enjoyed it. I wouldn't want to do this with anyone else.

We approached the gates of the school. Tae put his earbuds away and flashed his boxy smile at me. Gosh the things I would give for him to smile like that at me all the time. We walked through the doors of the school and went our separate ways since our lockers were in different hallways. While making my way to my locker I feel a tap on my shoulder. Turning around I see a girl

Girl-"hello sorry to bother you but I was wondering if you know where locker number 132 is?"
Minah-" of course. Follow me."

Something about her seems so familiar. I can't quite put my finger on it yet. Locker 132 is right next to Tae's locker so it was easy to find. As we approached the locker Tae looked up and smiled at me. He looked to his left and saw the girl next to me. His smile grew slightly bigger. Does he know her? Hm I wonder why his smile got bigger.

Minah- "hey Tae I'm here to bring this girl to her locker. She happens to have the locker next to yours.
Taehyung- "oh really? What's your name?
Irene- "my name is Irene."
Taehyung-"oh hello Irene. I'm Taehyung. Welcome to our school. I hope you enjoy it here."
Irene-"hello Taehyung. I hope so too."
Taehyung-"do you need help? Here let me help you."
Irene-"oh thank you"

Tae grabbed all her books out of her hands and helped her open her locker and get settled in. I didn't know what to do so I just stood there. He seemed to be able to talk to her pretty easily. Which was odd since he isn't t very good with talking to new people. It took him months to be able to properly have a conversation with me. But with her it's different.

Taehyung- "Minah are you ok?"

I looked up at him.

Minah- "oh sorry. Yes I'm ok I was just day dreaming again."
Taehyung- "just making sure"
Minah- "no need to worry I'm fine"

Tae smiles at me and turned to Irene. And suddenly they both turn and look at me. woah.
This looks too familiar. Irene looks even more familiar standing next to Tae. What is going on? My heart began beating fast. My palms began to get sweaty as well. I felt nervous. I don't know what got into me but I felt off. Not how I normally do. I just don't know why she looks like she is meant to stand next to him.

The bell rang and I went up to Tae to give him a hug but he dodged and gave me a high five instead. I returned his high five and smiled at him and Irene. Walking to class I wondered why he didn't hug me. Why did he give me a high five? He has never done that before.

*time skip*

Finally school is over for the day. I couldn't wait to go home and eat. I walked to my locker and set me books inside. The sound of laughs caught me off guard. It was Tae's laugh. I smiled to myself but it quickly faded once I heard the laugh of a girl. Was it Irene's? I made my way around the corner and saw Tae and Irene talking. Of course. I quickly put on a smile and walked up to them.

Minah- "hey guys. What are you up to?"
Taehyung- "oh hey Minah we are just getting to know each other more.
Irene- "yeah Taehyung is a really funny guy."
Minah- "are you ready?"
Taehyung-"for what?"
Minah- "to walk home."
Taehyung- "actually I'm going to hang out with Irene today."
Minah- "oh that's ok I'll just walk by myself today. I'll text you later.
Taehyung- "ok"

I went in for a hug and once again he replaced it with a high five. What is up with him today?
Instead I offered my hand to him. Signaling him to do our handshake. He ignored it and turned back to Irene. She looked at me and mouthed the words "mine". I put my hand down and quickly walked out of the building. My mind is filling up with many questions. Why is he being weird today? Why did Irene say mine? What is she referring to? Is it Tae?

🌻-this one is actually kind of long. I know. I just got so into it and I couldn't stop. I really do enjoy writing. And I hope you enjoy my writing. Why do you think Irene said mine? What do you think her intentions are? Also why is Tae acting up? Is it because of Irene or is it Minah. Let me know. :)
