Going back to the Past!

3rd POV

Harsh coughs broke through the deathly silence on the bloodied and corpse littered battlefield. They have just won the fourth great ninja war that has been waging on for months that they lost track of time, but at what cost? Everyone except them were dead. Naruto sat down on a rock with Shikamaru and Sasuke sitting beside him with Sakura sitting before them. They were all slowly dying.

"What's going to happen now Hokage-sama?" Shikamaru asked grimly as he looked in the dull eyes of the once cerulean blue. Naruto shook his head.

"I'm no Hokage when I couldn't even save my own people." His voice was hoarse and broken from not using it much.

"You'll always be our Hokage Ruto." Sasuke said using Naruto's nickname. Shikamaru smiled in agreement.

"Yeah, even if we die, you'll still be."

"Suke and Shika is right Ruto." Sakura said.

"Hn." Shikamaru smirked.

"Here we go again."

"Ugh! Stop moping around would ya! and come here!" Kurama voice startled naruto as he jerked forward, confusing his siblings in all but blood.

"Ku-kurama! Why were you so silent!?" Asked Naruto out loud as he was shocked. Sasuke, Sakura and Shikamaru got a look of recognition and watched Naruto and his tenant communicate.

"Are you coming or not and to answer your question, I've been building up my chakra for a jutsu to send you back in time and maybe you can bring along your friends." Naruto's eyes lit in a glint of hope and shock.

'B-back in time!? As in time-travel!?'

Kurama snorted "yes kit, that's what I just said. With the chakra that we have now, I can probably send us back to before Obito's death." Naruto laughed, eyes filled with happiness and his laughter with joy and excitement.

'Okay! Let's do it!' Kurama smiled, glad with the fact that Naruto didn't lose his childish character.

"Whatever you say kit. You'll have your body from this time when we get back but you'll have to start all over again when conceived." Naruto turned green at the last part.

'I'm gonna tell them what you said.' Kurama nodded and Naruto exit his mindscape.

Naruto told them what Kurama said and to say they were exited was an understatement.

"What are we waiting for? Let's go." Shikamaru said as he thought of seeing his Friends and family.

Naruto and Sasuke smirked while Sakura smiled, knowing exactly what he was thinking.

Naruto nodded and started doing hand signs Kurama had showed him.

"Hold on to me guys and don't let go!" Naruto shouted as he pumped chakra into the jutsu causing a bright light to appear. They held onto him. The last thing they felt was themselves being pulled somewhere by a strong force before losing consciousness.
