Ch.1 homecoming

It was a normal day in the hidden leaf village. The hyuga family were having a ceremonial feast to congratulate neji on becoming jonin. Suddenly, a cat ran through the dining room of house hyuga. Followed by 3 ninja running at high speed. Just as they brought out a giant cake for neji, the leader of the trio smashed the cart and sent the cake flying. "God damnit!! Naruto!!!!" Shouted Hinatas father. The young boy turned and smiled as he fled. "Oh right. konohamaru! You little punk!!! Get back here!!!" But he was long gone. Hinata chuckled. She missed naruto very much. It's been 2 years since he left to train with master jiraiya. Hinata wondered when he was coming back as she helped clean the mess. she heard a shout from a familiar voice out side. "I'm home everyone!! Naruto uzumaki has returned to the hidden leaf village!!!" Hinata was overjoyed and was leaving to go tell the others when her father stoped her. "Just because the cake is ruined, doesn't mean we're not congratulating neji on his achevement." He must have not heard the shout. After the ceremony, it was late in the evening. she and neji went to the park where all her and neji's friends allways hung out. They were all surrounded behind the big tree which she thought was odd |hey you guys| she said, |did you know that...| As she was speaking, sakura and ino ran over and hurried her over to the tree. |What are you......| As she spoke, a yellow haired young man walked out from behind the tree. He had a long black cloak, long spiky hair, and sharp teeth. He looked very grown up and handsome. She didn't think he would be there. She assumed he would be stuck in tsunades place or in his apartment. "Hey neji! Hinata!!" He turned to neji and said "hmmm...you're a jonin." "Yeah, how did you know?" Neji replied. "I can sense it." Naruto said with a fox like grin. "Woah. Impressive." Neji said. "No we told him!" Sakura told them. Naruto laughed. "Yea you're right. Haha I was only kidding" he turned to hinata. "Hinata you're...wow!" Her face turned red. |W..what is it, naruto-kun?| "Your eyes are...beautiful." "Naruto, you idiot!!" Sakura said as she punched him in the head. Hinata immediately fainted. He caught her and laid her down on the grass and knelt beside her and used medical ninjutsu on her until she awoke. She was surprised how worried he looked "are you ok?" He asked. |Y..yes naruto-kun I...I think so.| "Good! Because I've got lots of stories to tell! Come with me everyone! Let's get some ramen!!".

At the ramen shop, (which is now a ramen restarant) naruto told stories about his adventures.

"So then we ended up in this magic kingdom and I met this wizard that could eat fire! He had a blue talking cat that could fly! And the same hair color as sakura and the same temper too! After we stopped there, we met these pirates that offers us to sail with them. The captan could stretch his body like rubber! And he could eat more then me! His ship had a great cook and a awesome crew! After sailing for about a month, we collected a lot of treasure! I'm getting my cut transferred to Ryo right now!! Then we stoped on this small island with only one house on it. There, we met this awesome martal artist that could fly!! Apparently he was an alien that could change his hair color to yellow and that made him stronger! He could eat more then both of us! After spending the night there we sailed to this place infested with giants. They apparently ate people so we stayed within these walls that protect the humans. we met this guy that could turn into one of those giants when he bit his thumb just like summoning jutsu haha."

The night went on and the friends laughed and drank all night. None of the girls were allowed to drink so they all stayed in naruto's apartment till the morning. They stayed in narutos room and naruto slept on the couch. When naruto woke up, everyone had left but sakura. She had made breakfast and coffee. "Wow sakura. That looks good! And he started to eat. Sakura looked at naruto as she sipped her coffee. "naruto we need to talk." He looked up from his food "Sure sakura, what's up?" Se stared into his eyes. "did you notice what happened last night naruto?" Naruto laughed, "I can hardly remember anything from last night!" "You didn't notice hinata? The way she was looking at you?" Sakura said. Naruto replied "No, why?" She looked discouraged. "She is in love with you, naruto. more then she was 4 years ago. She even told ino, ten ten, and I." Naruto's grin faded. He looked at sakura and paused for a moment. He then picked up his plate, and put it in the dishwasher. Then he walked over to his t.v. And began playing video games. "What are you doing?" Sakura asked. "I need time to think about this. Can I text you later?" Naruto asked sakura. "Yeah, sure. See you later, naruto" naruto looked up. "Yea see ya. And thanks for breakfast." And sakura got up and left. "Now that I think about it, hinata is very beautiful. The prettiest kunoichi out of the 4 of them!" The more he thought about it, the more he began to crush on hinata. Later that day, naruto texted hinata.

Later, at the park, naruto met with hinata on the swings. "Hey hinata" |hi naruto-kun| "Listen, I uh...I know about...how you feel about me." Hinata eyes widened and she began to blush. |y..you do?| "Yes and I've thought about it--about you a lot" hinata didn't know how to feel about all this. "The real reason I asked you to come here is to ask you....you wanna go see a movie with me tonight?" There was a short pause. Hinata was astonished. She couldn't believe the boy that she adored, the boy who's picture she use to kiss every night, was asking her on a date. A real date. She tried not to faint as she answered. |y...yes! naruto-kun. I...I would love to.| "Ok great!" Naruto pulled out a piece of paper from his pocket. It had a list of all the movies playing in the hidden leaf village. "You can pick. I don't care what movie we see." |c...can we see frozen?| "Yea frozen sounds great!" |ok naruto-kun...can we stop by my house so I can get ready?| "Yeah sure!" They went to house hyuga and hinata told naruto to wait outside because Hinatas father hated naruto. Hinata got into her room and burrowed her face in her pillow and screamed. Then she jumped up and down and did a happy dance. Her life long love had finally asked her on a date. When she finally calmed down, she went to her mom and askes her mom to borrow a dress. "What's the occasion?" Her mom asked. |don't tell father but naruto has asked me to go on a date with him!!| she said. "Oh my goodness! honey, I'm so happy for you! I will get you a dress and do your hair ok?" |thanks mom!| she replied. While he was waiting, naruto decided to Summon his car with ninjutsu. He bit his thumb and then wiped the blood on his other hand. He preformed the hand seals then touched the ground and a giant puff of smoke appeared. When the smoke cleared, a very nice black sports car was reviled. He turns around and saw hinata standing on her porch. Narutos heart sank when he saw her sparkling lavender dress that matched her eyes, Her long black hair that glistened in the moonlight and her makeup that defined her already beautiful eyes. Hinata smiled, feeling more confident. |what's wrong? Naruto-kun| She said in a slightly seductive voice. "Hinata, you're...wow". He opened the car door for her and she climed in. On the way to the theatre, which is on the other side of town, naruto told her more stories about his adventures.

When they arrived, they saw shikamaru and temari there too. "Hey skika! You missed a hell of a party last night!" Naruto said. "Yea sorry I couldn't stay. I have students you know. Plus I don't drink." Shikamaru said as he flicked the ash off his cigarette. "I didn't know you two were going out." Temari added with a smirk. |yeah naruto-kun just asked me!| hinata replied. They go into the theater and and the lights dimmed down. Naruto pretended to yawn and stretch as he put his arm around Hinata. She giggled and leaned into his shoulder .
