Chapter 1: Guardian's entrance

When Zexon woke up, all he could see was the vast blue sky with puffy white clouds that seems like cotton candies. When he reached up towards the sky, he saw a hand where the nails were painted golden.

He immediately knew this was not his hand. He knew that this should be the appearance of 'the guardian of Juniper'.He sat up and look down to see himself wearing a traditional kimono, the big sleeves have a black almost transparent flower printed on it.

The upper part of the kimono is white while the below part is purple, on the sleeves, there was also some gold strings. Zexon also saw that he was wearing fingerless gloves but the gloves only decided to have a longer length at the middle finger with some indescribable words on it, the complicated part is that the other glove on his right hand stopped at his arm which is actually quite unique, on the end on his glove is gold medal.

After seeing these weird clothes, Zexon really wanted to see how he looks like, so he decided to call for Irene in his mind.

"Irene"

"Yes, Wind?"A new voice popped up

"Do you have a mirror you can lend me, I want to see how I look like."

"Well, luckily I have one that shows your appearance fully, now take this."Irene chirped.

As if on cue, a mirror with gold metal surrounding it fell from the sky. Zexon positioned it to stand on a tree as he gazes at his own mirrored appearance.

His long hair reaches till his waist or maybe even longer. His hair was also quite unique, the main colour of his hair was purple but there are numerous black strips and forest green stripes on his hair that makes it looks mesmerizing, there was also a flower crown on his head. He had a sharp jawline and a cute small nose with golden eyes. He had full lips, his lips have the colour of a cherry that makes it looks enticing and rounded ears. When he touched his face, he was surprised by the smoothness of his skin, his cheeks also have a bit of almost transparent pink tint on it which adds to the beauty.

Looking at his appearance, you would definitely think "Ah...This is really a god before my eyes."

When Zexon reached for the inside of his sleeve, he touched something wooden and took it out. It was a hand fan with the colour of midnight painted with sakuras and butterflies.

This is the perfect weapon for Zexon, in his last life, he had learnt acupuncture, well it was definitely tough to learn all the acupuncture points since there are a total of 361.

"Irene"

"Yes, Wind? Is there anything wrong?"

"What is this hand fan for?

"Well, you have learned the acupunctures points already so there is something. Well, the main reason I gave you is that you can also use the hand fan to control the wind as of the wind depends on your emotion, if you are angry, the wind will be really strong, if you are relaxed, the wind would seem more like a breeze."Zexon could imagine Irene's eyes sparkling as she talked about it.

"Well is there any other powers I can use?"

"Being the Guardian of Juniper, you can control water, air and fire.But you are also allowed to use other elements, you can also tame monsters and make them become your pets. You can also control weapons as well as your charm level."

"Weapons I see..."Zexon smirked

"And...What do you mean by charm level?"Zexion's eyes hardened.

"Er..........That means your appearance and your charms like...You are able to attract people whom you want."Irene tried to say it very normally but clearly, she was under a lot of pressure from Zexon's hardened eyes.

"Perfect."

"AH?"Irene blinked a thousand times before the word Zexon had uttered registered inside her head.

"That means I can attract the person I want in the future...Even a handsome guy that is totally my type, thank you, Irene."Zexon thanked Irene as Irene heaved a sigh of relief.

"You're welcome, Zexon."

"AHHHHHH"A scream had broken the happy atmosphere when Zexon and Irene were talking.

"Zexon, hurry and check it out!"Zexon nodded at Irene's words and followed the direction where the scream came from.

It seems there are dragons and some other monsters that were heading towards the city. Clearly, some people were fighting as they held out their hand and chanted some words, the floors cracked as roots came out and trapped some of the monsters.

"THERE IT IS.JUNIPER!"Irene shouted as Zexon looked at the city he was supposed to protect.

Zexon, having very sensitive hearing and superb eyesight due to him being the guardian could hear everything and see everything from a far distance.

"Juniper was under the barrier of the guardian but now the previous guardian died....The barrier is no longer working..."Irene trailed off as she looked at the battlefield.

"Oh please, guardian of Juniper, please save us..."Zexon heard these words and looked at a nun who is praying on top of the city's walls as she continued praying.

"SHOOT!"A man who appeared to be in his middle age shouted as arrows were shot high up in the sky and straight towards the monsters.

"MAGICIANS, GET READY!"A woman in her early thirties with some glasses raised her arms high up in the air.

"NOW!" What appears to be fire magic shoot at the monsters and some were dead.

But clearly, the number wasn't decreasing.

"SHIT!"He heard the woman cursed as Zexon smirked.

"Well...I guess it is time for my entrance then."Zexon took out his hand fan and walked towards the battlefield.

I was a bit happy when I wrote this because of my first chapter having ten views. To me, ten views is already a lot so thank you to the ten people who viewed it.
