It's been around 5 minutes since they exchanged vows, everyone is now congratulating them and greeting everyone, "Hey I'm Jeon Jungkook." Someone taps my shoulder, "Yeah, I figured I've been looking for you to introduce my self, I'm Min Naeun." I smile shaking Jungkook's hand, "You look very nice tonight." He smiles complimenting me, "Thank you, you look charming as I imagined," I smile, he looks young, I should ask him "How old are you?"
"I'm 22." He smiles, I'm a year older than him, hm, "Ah I just turned 23, how long have you known Jimin?" I chime sweetly, "I've known Jimin for a few years I met him on the first day of college, Noona how long have you known Mina?" He asks purring out the word 'Noona'
"I've known Mina since the age 3, so 20 years." I shrug starting to walk around, "Jungkook! Come over here for a secon-" a boy ran up to us with a oddly familiar box smile, but he stopped his sentence when he met eyes with me "Annyeong.." he mummers, is he nervous or something, who is he? "Excuse me, I'll find you later!" Jungkook ran off with the boy, the boy glanced at me several times as they walked away. Weird.
"Congratulations guys, this is a beautiful wedding!" I smile hugging Mina and then Jimin, "Thank you Naeun, it wouldn't have happened with all your help, you made a tremendous difference, you're a awesome planner you know." Jimin smiled releasing the hug and pinching my cheek, me and Jimin are also good friends since we all spent a lot of time together planning the event and he's of course my best friends lover. "yeah I love planning things, I have a scrapbook of all of the things I've planned." I let out a giggle taking a glass of wine from the waiter.
"You guys are such a beautiful couple I envy you." I take a sip and daze off, "Don't worry, everyone finds an epic love, you will too, patience and time is the key." Mina smiles hugging me, "I know, it just seems to take a while when all of my other friends are already in love." I smile looking around to see all of the couples that surrounded the area.
I was talking with Mina and Jimin when I felt a gentle tap on my shoulder, I turn to see jungkook and the same boy with the familiar box smile, "Hey Noona, this is my friend!" Jungkook chimes, I smile averting my gaze to the boy who stood a little awkwardly, "Hello, I'm Min Naeun!" I introduce myself holding my hand out, I see his facial expression immediately change, he become shocked, flustered even.
He slowly shakes my hand, "I'm uh Kim Taehyung." He states gritting his teeth, Taehyung...TAEHYUNG!
the familiar box smile, it belonged to him, coincidental that I was talking about how I wanted to see him again yesterday and now he's here, he watched as my expression changed to shocked as well, "T-Taehyung.." I stutter as our hands released.
"It's nice to see you again." Taehyung smiles, his confidence suddenly growing back, "Yeah you too." I smile a little flustered, he's still so handsome as before, his charm remained. "You guys know eachother?" Jungkook asked looking at the both of us sceptically.
"High school flame" Taehyung replies keeping his eye on me, "I should uh talk to Mina.." I smile running off to find Mina. "Could I have a second with the bride please?" I ask politely to the people she was talking to, they nod and I pull her away, "What's wrong Naeun, did something happen?" Mina questioned holding my arm concerned, "Remember we was talking about Kim Taehyung my high school crush?" I question and she nods a little scared.
"Look who Jungkook is talking to, and look hard because then you'll begin to recognise him." I indicate for her to look over to him, "Is that Taehyung? He was one of the best men I didn't know, now it's hitting me that it's him," She states her jaw dropping, "Naeun this is a sign from god that the flame can light again!" Mina jumped up and down happily hitting my arm excitedly, "You what- no mina this isn't a sign from god, I'm atheist, this is a sign from the awkward gods, the uncomfortable atmosphere is unbearable." I state fiddling with my bracelet.
"I have to go back to thanking people for coming, you go back to Jungkook, just stay by his side and it won't be awkward." Mina states waving and then walking away to a group of people. I look back to the pair of boys who looked at me, by the time I walked over there, there was two new boys standing with them.
"Min Naeun, still elegantly slaying." A bright smiling man observed me, I remember exactly who he is, "Oh my! Hoseok!" I giggle excitedly hugging him, this dude was my best friend throughout high school, we talk often but we hardly see eachother because we go to different colleges and we're both busy most times. "How have you been?" He questioned happily, "Yeah I've been good, you?" I continue smiling, being around him has always cheered people up, "I've also been good," I smile.
"This is Kim Seokjin, one of my closest friends from college." A man steps forward, "Hey I'm Seokjin but you can call me Jin or worldwide handsome." He mocks flicking his hair confidently.
"Nice to meet you Jin, I'm Min Naeun." I smile giggling at his humour. We all talk for a bit however throughout the conversation there was a pair of eyes on me, Taehyung. After around 10 minutes Taehyung pulls me aside.
"I'm sorry Naeun but I can't help to ask, what's your number?"
He's asking for my number now..should I play hard to get or give in to my heart and just give him my number? psh whatever.
