hyunjin was on his bike, casually adjusting the strap on his helmet, "why is it so loose?" he muttered. once he was done fiddling with the strap, he positioned his arms and legs on the bike and turned on the engine. like norm. like how he does all the time.

he was just coming home from a late night's work at JYP. he stayed longer than he expected and went out to get some coffee on his own from his favourite coffee shop downtown.

as he drove down the road, he would think of his members, worrying for him. he shook his head and turned on the bluetooth earpiece he wore and called Jeongin.

"this number is unavailable. please try again later. thank you." the phone left a beep before hyunjin switched it off. he sighed and drove faster. what he didn't know was that, a huge truck was approaching.

the truck wasn't driving like everybody else on the road. it was swaying. it moved left then right, confusing drivers. the driver didn't hesitate to speed up too and ramp against his bike. the bike flew as well as hyunjin. it happened all so fast. hyunjin was stabbed in the abdomen by a sharp edge of a branch.

he groaned in pain and couldn't move. luckily, he had his phone in his pocket and it wasn't that badly scratched. he quickly dialled for emergency.

"pause"

"what? why?"

"because we've seen just enough."

"now we just have to find the driver." felix states, "did you see the liscence plate? we can trace it from the mechanic's."
i nodded placing a hand on his. "he'll be alright, felix."

"he'll be fine. we will find the driver, though and bring him to prison." bang chan added, looking over at Jae.

"guys, i can bring you to the mechanics for trucks and let them know about the situation. i'm sure the whole process wouldn't take long." jae says, making the three of us heave out a sigh of relief.
