Nana's point of view
It's been already two weeks since our debut. Everything happened so fast. We did a lot of TV shows, we had so much fun at each of them.
Tomorrow we'll attend to the GOLDEN DISK AWARD, one of the most prestigious award show in the KPOP industry. We'll not just attend to it, we are nominated for four prizes. Newcomer Award, Digital Bonsang for "BURN", Disk Daesang for "RISE UP" our album and the Popularity Award. It's unbelievable in such a short time, only two weeks after our debut, we are nominated for four awards and two of them are the most prestigious awards in the industry. We are the first Kpop band nominated for these awards a few weeks after their debut in the whole Kpop history.We still can't believe it. It feels like a dream that we have to wake up from. Nobody ever did that before. When we knew the new we were working on a new album.
Between the apparitions, we are always working at the dorm, at JYP's, in our studios, on band's projects or personal projects. Almost working 24/7. Although this morning, I.L and I have an appointment in the boss' office, J.Y.P, we will talk about a Kdrama project. There will be an audition for a new drama and they asked him if we could audition for it.That's all we know for now.We are in the office, we greet him and sit on the sofa in his office. - Hello girls, he greets us after we did. It's a fantasy drama, in the same style as "Beauty Inside". It's the same director. The story is about two best friends, one of them as a very important job in one of the most influential and rich company here in South Korea and the other one, is a famous actress, loved by the audience. The actress is going to convince the businesswoman to exchange their life for one month. So the drama is going to follow their adventures. - Does the casting has already started? I ask curiously. - For the secondary roles, yes. But not for the main roles, explains JYP. We talk more about the drama, learn the script until I suddenly want to go to the restroom, so I tell them and go searching the restroom.
After I'm out of the restroom, I look to the left and right.I can't remember which way I should go. So I decide to go in a way and then the opposite. So I end up losing myself in this big building for like ten minutes. Suddenly, at the end of the hallway, I hear voices. Two young men. The closer I get the more I recognize their voices. It's Jackson and Yugyeom from GOT7. They are talking about our leader I.L. Curiously, I try to listen to them. - Ilona is gorgeous and radiant every time she's on stage and off stage too, explains Jackson. She is one of the most talented et amazing woman that I know, she means so much to me. - You have feelings for her, right? When will you confess to her?, asks Yugyeom curiously and impatient - Because of their debut, the promotions, and everything, I didn't find the right time to ask her out, explains Jackson. We know how much it could be hard and difficult when we debut. I'll ask her on Thursday. We planned a working session. - So in one week, concludes Yugyeom.As they arrive at me, I go to them and ask them where is the JYP's office.They burst out laughing, and jokes about me being lost here but tell me which way it is. While leaving, I tell Jackson that he doesn't have to worry, I won't say anything to I.L about his feelings and the date. He looks at me, surprised. When he reacts, I am already too far from him.
On my way back to the office, I think about what he said. I.L and Jackson have always been closed. They were trainees together and they spend a lot of time together, training, writing songs and stuff. She was the backup dancer in 3 songs for GOT7 (The recently one is Lullaby) and his personal MV (Papillon and FENDIMAN). Even if Jackson has less experience than I.L. He taught her a lot and vice versa.I.L is also a songwriter, she collaborates a lot with Jackson, has credits in his solo songs and some of the GOT7's songs. The other day, when we were at the restaurant. Everyone was there, the members of DESTINESIA, GOT7, and STRAY KIDS, I.L was sitting next to Jackson. The discussions were diversified. When the waitress brought our drinks.Bambam turns to I.L and Jackson and told them that they'd make a perfect and beautiful couple. Both of them laughed but I could see my best friend turning red like a tomato. So I changed the conversation quickly so the other couldn't notice it. I have to admit that I pretty agree with Bambam. They would make a very beautiful couple.
When I am back in the office, I act as if nothing happened cause I promised him that I won't say anything.
