Lips meet teeth and tongue, my heart skips eight beats at once.
I wanted to take my eyes off him and just leave already but I couldn't, the guy I fell for in a random encounter was a star this whole time.
If we were meant to be, we would have been by now
But why do I still have hope? I asked myself.
See what you wanna see, but all I see is him right now
"C'mon let's go watch, let's just head home." My friend tugged at my sleeves, clearly knowing what happened. I couldn't move.

But you never came back to ask it out
His performance was over and he stepped off stage, glancing around to smile at his fans. He saw me in the crowd and his smile soon dropped. He immediately ran to his car and revved up the engine to get away.

I thought to myself about the date, I remember when we just talked in the aisles.
I still remember that.
I know she does too. She probably wants someone more normal than a rapper on stage.
Heaven sent a present my way,
I smiled, remembering the box of matches I opened and accidentally dropped to the floor. And her helping out before the store owner got pissed.
i won't forget your laugh.
"Damn well if I was gonna get on my knees in front of a pretty girl I should've brought a ring!" I joked, her laugh wasn't even possible. It just sounded so perfect and I wish I could've heard it more. Her smile was gorgeous and the dimples on top of that just made her art.
