Emma walks beside her parents crossing the lawn to the house next door. She had never been inside because the older couple that had lived there didn't like her parents. Her father and pulled one of them over one day and gave them a ticket that resulted in their license being suspended or something. Since then they lived there a few more months before deciding to head down to D.C. to be closer to their children and grandchildren.
From what her parents described to her the house was big, white and had tall pillars that was connected to a small porch. Apparently there was also shrubs that were around the perimeter of the yard.
The way that Emma could imagine it, it sounded like the White House that the president lived in, even though she knew it wasn't quite that big.
They finally reach the steps and up onto the porch. Her father rang the doorbell. The doorbell sounded fancy. Or at least fancier than the doorbell at home.
When the door opened she smelt a lovely perfume. She assumed that it was a women that opened the door.
"Hello, you must be the rest of the Swans. I'm Zelena, nice to meet you." She said shaking their hands and letting them into the house.
"Hi, I'm David. This is my wife Mary Margaret and our daughter Emma." He says pointing at each.
"It's nice to meet you." She says leading them into the kitchen where the rest of them were. "This is my father Henry and my sister Regina."
Both Henry and Regina said their hellos and pretty soon the adults started talking among themselves, while Neal was enlisted by Zelena to help carry up a few more boxes to her new room.
Emma was instructed my her mother to go up with Regina and see if she can help her unpack. So the girls when off out of the room. "My room is upstairs." Regina says starting to lead the way when she then realizes that Emma can't see which direction she is headed.
Emma nods her head in affirmation. "Well,   you might have to lead me there. Can I hold on to you elbow?"
"Um.. sure" Regina says and extend arm out for Emma.
They head up the stairs. 11. Emma counts silently in her head. They walk around a small curve and then up again. 6. She counted. As they walk down the hall she hears Zelena instructing Neal where to place boxes. And finally they take a right turn into the room which Emma assumes is there destination.
"Sorry there isn't anything much in here yet and boxes are everywhere." Regina apologizes to her.
"It's fine you just moved in. It's understandable." Emma says trying to make her feel better. "So you moved from New York?"
"Yeah I think that I'm really going to miss the city. I've lived there my whole life. I feel like it's going to be too quiet here." Regina explains pulling some things out of one of the boxes that was sitting on the floor.
"It is really quite here. The only excitement is around a holiday when there is like a big town thing going on."
"So what do you do for fun?"
"Well, there is the beach but, it's not like the beaches you're thinking about because it's a rocky beach. And plus it smells like fish down there because the fish cannery is there. Then there are the stables. I will sometimes go there with my parents and my friend Killian." Emma says reaching into an open box to see what's in it.
"There are stables here?"
"Yeah, do you like horses?"
"I love them. I have only been riding once though and that was on a vacation." Regina recalls as she thinks back on her favorite vacation. "It was in Alaska. It was about three years ago and I was so excited when my parents told me that we were going to be going horseback riding. We went down into this little valley and to this lake and across the lake was mountains. It was so pretty because the lake was like a mirror and it was reflecting the mountains in it."
Emma smiles trying to imagine what the girl was describing to her. Though she didn't remember what mountains looked like so she could only imagine what it was like.

As time went on she realized that Regina and herself had a lot in common. They even have the same favorite pizza place in New York. They both played an instrument and like to sing and dance.
"If you don't mind me asking but how can you play the piano?" Regina asks cautiously, not wanting to offend her new friend.
"Well, I learned how to play from my mom when I was like four. Back when I still had sight. But, when I lost it I honestly thought that I wouldn't play again I was so sad because that somehow made whatever I was going though better." Emma pauses for a moment remembering how lost she felt when she could no longer see her family and lost so many of her childhood friends. "So one day I went downstairs and walk right up to the piano and sat there. I remember placing my hands on the keys and smiled because I had missed the feel of the ivory and then I just started playing 'Mary had a little lamb' which was the first song that I had ever learned to play. So after that I was still going to the blind school at that time and my parents put me in one of the music classes and there they taught me how to read sheet music in braille."
"That is amazing. I didn't know that they made braille sheet music. " Regina says putting away a few item from the box that Emma was helping her with.
"Yeah. If I'm being honest there is a lot of stuff that people don't know about the blind community. And so much that people think that they know is wrong because of how movies and tv portray it."
Regina nods as Emma explains. "So you said that you used to go to a blind school. So you don't anymore?"
Emma shanks her head. "No, I mean i don't think I needed to be there anymore. They taught me what I needed to know and then I left. Now I just go to Storybrooke high."
"That's cool. Who knows we might even be in the same class." Regina says hoping that they would have at least one class together so that she would know one person there.
"Maybe. That would be really cool. Although school is not as enjoyable as it might be for you because when I go I have to go almost everywhere with my aid. She basically is there to make sure that I'm able to do the work and stuff and it's super annoying." Emma explains rolling her eyes.

As the amount of boxes became less and less that needed to be unpacked, Emma slides a box to her had opens it up and reaches inside. At first she was unsure what she was feeling but then she recognized the feel as a vinyl record, or quite a few by what she can tell.
"What records are in here?" She asks pulling the first one out.
Regina turns and looks. "Well, I have a lot of them. That one there is Micheal Jackson's Dangerous album." And there is some more Micheal Jackson and a few of the Jackson 5 and some other random ones in there. Do you want to listen to them?" She asks walking over and taking the record from Emma as Emma nods an affirmative 'yes' to her.
"You should put on C1."  Emma says with a knowing smirk.
So Regina does just that and then when the music starts she notices Emma start to dance so she joins in while they both star to sing along to Black or White.
