He had the guts to lock me in a room? I wondered who gave him the right? Don't people ever learn? You can't force people to stay or do what they don't want to do. People are stubborn, and I don't like being forced to do anything against my will.
I found myself becoming bored very quietly and decided to be noisy. The room was typical, it was a plain white with the stuff you could find at a hotel minus a phone. A knock brought me back to reality.
"Luna, Alpha sat me outside. Whatever you need, I'll get it for you."
"I want out of here." There was a pause as if the person hesitant.
"I'm sorry, Luna. I wish I could but I can't." With that, they stopped talking. My eyes wandered around the room seeking freedom but found none. I noticed two other doors. My bet, one lead to the closet, the other to the bathroom. I took my thought into action, as I checked both doors. I was right, one was the closet with no luck, the other to the bathroom. The bathroom itself had a window on the other hand.
The window which lead to my freedom, I smiled a victory smile, slowly walking to my destination. I unlocked the window before pushing up, only for it to not move. Those beasts thought about everything!
I searched the cupboards and the drawers looking for anything long, sharp and flat. Something related to a knife, I thought opening the last door, freezing but only to find nothing.
Windows are meant to be broken anyways. I searched again, this time for something heavy to break a window.
I made my way back into the bathroom, giving up on finding nothing. I checked out the window noticing that I had a swimming pool underneath. I took a step back counting to three before taking a deep breath, aiming and slamming my hand into the glass.
The glass shock but didn't crack as sharp chronic pain ached through my knuckles forcing me to rethink my decision. I begin to wonder why I was so stupid to use my left hand.
I took a deep breath before deciding that I needed to try again, this time with something a little different. I searched the area once again, looking for something bigger.
My eyes skipped over the useless items until they landed on a hairbrush. Now, this could work. I quickly made my way over to the window again before slamming the window one more time. The glass broke but only in one area, and it could be heard for miles.
I didn't take the time to see if anyone heard anything and broke out the sharp pieces. Glancing out the window, I started to panic. I was almost three stories up, how can I make the jump without hurting myself? Worried, I decided to throw myself out the window, feet first. I waited for the impact, and it quickly came as I didn't stay on my feet but the pain pulled me down.
How am I going to get away? My leg hurt, and I didn't even have any pressure on it yet. I conceived myself to get going by not thinking but just running. Not even halfway and my chest felt like I ran a marathon. I wanted to save my energy in case I had to outrun people or in my case beasts.
I would be screwed if they came after me. I sighed in relief, happy for once seeing the building in the distance. Some part of me was happy to know that they weren't that far away from here.
I don't get it though, why would the humans build a school near the woods which hold the supernatural?
Maybe my theories were correct. Either the teachers are beasts maybe a few vampires, to brainwash us into thinking they're dangerous. The government made up a story which was proven wrong by me-or maybe the government just made a guess.
Maybe humans were just stupid. That's the only reasonable answer. They throw around laws and the government power, but do they really understand what they're doing? This world has been divided into multiple sides. There is no in-between.
