"mommy." i poked at her face. "mommy." i poked again. "mommy i picked my room." i poked her twice. "mommy i'm bored now." i huffed. "mommyyy-."

"nicolas!" she yelled. "why, don't you, go greet our neighbors and stop bothering me because i am very busy." she glared at me. i huffed and stomped my feet. "fine!"

i walked outside and headed next door. i reached the driveway and remembered the pretty boy lived here. i put my hair in a ponytail and applied my bubblegum lip balm. i want him to think i'm pretty too! i finally reached the door and knocked twice. the pretty boy opened the door and i giggled nervously.

"whatchu want?" he said while looking down at his phone. i smiled and stood up straight. "hi i'm nicolas, but you can call me nick!" he looked up at stared at me before putting his bottom lip in his mouth. his lips were so big!

"kay nick, whatchu want?" i frowned slightly, he sounded like a meanie. "uh, me and my mommy just moved in next door and she wanted me to say hi. she'll probably come say hi to your parents too. are they home?" i asked.

"oh, yea, i'm taymor, and nah only i live here." he said.

"luckyyy! i wish i lived by myself, i would eat ice cream for breakfast everyday." i thought out loud.

he chuckled lowly, "how old are you nick?" i giggled, "i'm 16! but my birthday's in two months!" i told him excitedly.

"almost 17 huh, you don't act like it." he said as he leaned against the door and watched me. i stared at him in confusion and after a few seconds he just muttered a "nevermind."

"hey, is that you room upstairs?" i asked as i pointed towards the window.

"um yeah, why?" he asked.

"cause mines right across it. it's pink i love it." i giggled.

"it was a girl's room, you're not gonna repaint it?" he raised his eyebrows slightly.

"n-no i like it pink, it's my favorite color." i said proudly.

"mane, that sounds gay." i frowned and scratched my head, "g-gay? i am pretty happy." i shrugged.

"nah i meant- you know what i got shit to, see you around nick." he chuckled as he closed the door. i waved and smiled.
