If you don't know who Peter Parker Aka Spider-Man is then let me get you up to speed. He was just your ordinary high school geek before He was bitten by a radioactive spider, infusing him with the DNA of a one and all it's abilities. Now everybody including Flash Thompson the bully idolizes him. Why? He'll never understand. Being Spider-Man along with being Peter Parker is a full time job. It never gets easier. As his Uncle Ben once told him.
"With great power comes with great responsibility".
This story is one of the greatest adventures ever foretold. For not one but two heroes.
Peter was web swinging through New York City, the concrete jungle gym he called home. He had just got out of class and was on his way over to Mary Jane's house to take her to Dr.Connor's lab. As Peter flipped and spun around the city, he started to think about the day ahead of him along with the conversation he had earlier with the doctor.
Dr.Connors.. The world renowned geneticist, physicist and biologist that Peter met through an internship in high school. Ever since meeting the doctor, him and peter have remained good friends through their love of learning and of the unknown. They have grown closer now since Spider-Man had saved him from becoming The Lizard permanently.
"Hmmmm. Dr.Connors told me he has someone to introduce to me to and that they have something very promising that I need to see."
Peter's spider sense might not have been going off but he had a strange feeling about this.
When he asked Connors who and what he had to show him. Connors replied to Peter telling him
"There's no time to explain Pete, come as soon as you can! Bring a friend if you'd like, the more the merrier."
Followed by a dial tone. Maybe he's discovered a new chemical bond or perhaps hired another promising intern from Yale..Peter thought to himself. He discreetly swung down behind Mary Jane's house and put plain clothes over his costume while taking a quick inspection around him to see if anyone was watching. He then fumbled his way to her front door and knocked.
"Hey Peter!"
A voice burst forth. The door swung open and there she was. Mary Jane Watson, the official definition of the girl next door. Beautiful, smart, funny and all around perfect. Every man's dream next door. Not to mention she's a redhead, one of Peter's and Spider-Man's lesser known weaknesses.
"MJ you look great as always. "
Peter exclaimed trying not to have his tongue roll out of his mouth.
"And you say the same thing as always Pete"
Mary Jane laughed.
"Touché MJ."
Peter retorted back. He extended his arm and she latched on, he could see the corner of her mouth lift into a small curve as she did.
"Man I could never get tired of seeing that" Peter thought to himself.
"So Pete, what exactly are we going to see at Dr.Connors?" She asked.
"Huh? Oh yeah right!" Peter chimed.
He zoned out for a second, you'd think being Spider-Man would help him be less of a dork but it doesn't. Peter withheld his sigh and answered her question.
"Your guess is as good as mine MJ he didn't tell me what it was but he made it sound important." he answered.
"Hm, I wonder. I just hope it doesn't have anything to do with lizards or at least I hope spiderman is close by"
