Ethan Cain X POV (age 7)

The rain came down hard as I found some cover in an alleyway near the empire state building, I was shivering and my stomach roared in hunger, I was ready to accept the inevitable embrace of death when I jeard someone walking towards me I ignored it thinking they were just going to pass through, bit O was wrong as two feet entered my vision signaling toe someone was stopped right in front of me.

Me: If your going to rob me I have nothing to steal and if your going to kille just do it already.

???: Now why would I do that you look like you need help.

Me: What do you want in return for your help?

???: Nothing

I look up at the person seeing a young girl as old as me standing there

Me: No there is always something you want in return.

???: Okay fine I want you to promise me that one day we will meet again and on that day you will steal me away to be with you.

Me: I don't even know your name though and how am I a street rat you prince charming?

???: Because you have a good heart in you and I know it, and my name is Hestia.

Me: Like the Greek Goddess?

Hestia: You could say that.

Me: So what am I supposed to to do and how will you remember this promise doesn't it seem a bit to far in the future for either of us to remember?

Hestia: Well you can remember with this

She pulls out a ring shining an elegant silver yet rather simple before pulling out some strong and tying it together to make a makeshift necklace.

Hestia: And don't worry I have a great memory we will meet again someday my dear.

Me: Fine I have nothing left to lose at this point.

Timeskip present day

I woke up in a temple of some kind my body screaming at me as I sat up looking around seeing Vanessa and that girl from earlier on either side of the bed I moved to get out of bed waking both up.

Vanessa: Oh your awake finally, come on we need to go get the rest of the sins I have a lead on Lust and Pride.

Me: In a moment I need to do something first.

Vanessa: Fine I will meet you at our base.

She left as I turned to Hestia whispering in her ear.

Me: Do you still want me to steak you away from this place?

Hestia: Yes Ethan that hasn't changed since we met all those years ago.

Me: Even though I am the sin of Greed itself?.

Hestia: Not even that will make me stop loving you.

Me: Well I better not keep Vanessa waiting to long, I be back to steal you away from here someday I promise.

With that I teleported to our base seeing Vanessa in her chair patiently waiting for me.

Me: So who are we recruiting first?
