"But I don't want to dad!!!," I yelled
"I didn't ask if you wanted to, I said you're getting married!!!" my father said.
I look at my mom who was next to my dad,to see if she was going to help me out.She saw me and put her head down, I can't believe she isn't saying anything,I thought mothers were there to help out their children,but it seems like I'm by my own with this.
"You can't make me do anything, this isn't fair!" I said tears pouring out of my eyes, slamming my hands on his desk.
"Welcome to the real world Gianna, life isn't fair!" my father said while rocking his chair back and forth behind his desk.
"Mom!!! you're not going to say anything?" I asked my mom with such urgency.
"Gianna,I wish all this wouldn't be happening,but it's the best" she said walking towards me and trying to hug me, but I shoved her away.
"The best? the best for you guys!!! because all you think about is money,money and more money...you don't care about your own family," I yelled at my parents.
"It's the best for all of us Gianna,after all I've done for you, you don't want to help out your father here?" my dad said while he stood up from his chair and walked towards me.
"Oh don't come up with the, after all I've done for you, that's old already, we have enough money already why do I have to get married?!!!" I said
"Gianna I'm done with this,there is nothing you can do,you're getting married with Angelo and that's the end of this" my father raised his voice.
"What about Kyle?" I said and started crying even more.
"What about him? Break up with him...tell him you found a better guy and you're getting married,but I have to say it is a shame I really liked that boy" my dad said shaking his head.
"Ugh,you disgust me, I hate you dad" I said
"Gianna don't talk-" I heard my mom yell,but I didn't hear the rest because I left the room slamming the door really hard.
I ran upstairs to my room, I hate being a Milton I hate being rich, I hate all of this crap.It's dumb how people think money buys happiness,it doesn't it ruins everything.I threw myself in top of my queen size bed and started crying. I heard my phone ring from the nightstand next to my bed, I stretched my hand to reach the phone, I started crying even more when I saw the Caller ID
Kyle
I didn't answer him,just by thinking about his reaction when I have to tell him that I'm going to get married with Angelo it breaks my heart.It kept ringing and ringing,but I didn't answer. I don't know what to say to him...Oh hey babe I have to break up with you because my family and Angelo's family decided to get us married because together we will be millionaires, so yeah that is why I have to break up with you so bye.
I heard the door of my room open and heard my brothers footsteps.
He is 19 years old and is two years older than me.He's like a best friend to me,every time I have a problem he is there for me,he always takes care of me and I remember that before dating Kyle,he would scare off all the guys that tried to get at me,but Kyle didn't run away and that is one reason I fell in love with him. Sometimes I wonder what would I do without my annoying ass big brother.
"Gianna?" my brother said and sat next to me in the bed.
I didn't turn around,"just go away Luca!" I whispered.
"Never in a million years,will I leave the most beautiful sister ever" he said and pushed me to the right of the bed,so he could have more space to sit down.
"Ughh,you're so annoying Luca" I said,but still didn't sit up.
"And I love you too...I brought you Ice cream." He said
Now something like that catches my attention,without hesitating I sit up, "what kind?" I asked
"Your favorite!" he said and waved the bucket of chocolate chip ice cream in front of my face.
I grabbed the bucket and the spoon and started eating.
"You're welcome and no don't worry I don't want some" he chuckled.
"Tell one of the girls that are always after you to buy you one, I'm sure they won't say no...and plus I'm very depressed right now" I said and shook my spoon in front of his face.
"I can't deny about the girls part, they can't resist to my handsomeness and my charms" he said proudly and winked at me.
That was very true,all the girls would go after my brother,some girls even acted to be my friends just to get at him,but I've got to say that he is pretty attractive,he's a gentleman,nice guy, intelligent, and very athletic.
"Yeah,I've noticed...you know, it does kind of get annoying when girls come up to me and ask for you,it's like ewww no" I said while still eating my ice cream.
"I don't blame them...well going back to you, I know it's not fair that dad and mom are making you do this,but what can we do about it? I tried to talk to them, but they just don't listen to me" he said
"It's just not fair,they can't force me to get married with Angelo just because of the money!!! and what about Kyle? I'm going to break his heart,he doesn't deserve it" I said crying
He hugged me,"I don't know what to say Gianna,try to explain to Kyle everything,I'm sure he'll understand and well look at the bright side, you're not marrying an ugly guy most girls would die to be in your position" he said
"Yeah, many girls might want him, but I don't...I just want Kyle and only him,he's the reason why I love waking up in the mornings to go to school,he's everything in my life and my parents are going to take that away from me" I said looking up to him.
"Okay?...well look at the other bright side you won't have to deal with my annoying ass" he said and smiled sheepishly
"I rather deal with your annoying ass than marrying Angelo" I said
"I admire you little sis" he said and messed my hair up.
"Me?" I questioned
"Yeah you, I know our parents love us and all that,they try to do the best for us,but they just don't know what is right and wrong.I admire you because you have been able to survive with them" he said
"You too,you still live here and you're their son too" I said
"Yeah,but you're a girl and I'm a guy" he said and stood up.
"And? what are you trying to say?" I asked
"That girls....you know what? forget about it,I'm just going to end up insulting girls and I don't do that,that's just not me,I'm a gentleman" he said proudly.
"And never forget about that" I said
"Well goodnight sis,sorry for everything and just rest you need it" he said and left my room.
Kyle,Kyle,Kyle,Kyle.
That was the name I had in my mind, I need to figure something out, I don't want him to hate me for what I'm going to do to him. I grabbed my grey shorts and a black tank top and head to my bathroom to take a shower.I finished taking a shower and was ready to fall asleep when my phone rang.I grabbed my iPhone and answered him I didn't have chance to say anything because Kyle started talking.
"Baby,what's wrong? are you okay? did I do something that got you mad Babe? tell me right now if you need me I'll be there in less than five minutes,why haven't you answered me? I was so worried about you love...baby talk to me" I heard him say through the phone.
"I love you Kyle,don't ever forget that" I said those few words and burst into tears.
""Babe? why are you crying? is everything okay?" I heard Kyle ask,it broke my heart hearing him talk he sounded so worried about me and I'm just going to pay him, with a, I'm going to marry Angelo, a guy that I hardly know.
"Kyle...I need to...I need to talk to you" I stuttered and cried even more
