I just came home and it all begin again. My mother shouted at me because I forgot to make up food for my little brother. It feels like i'm his mother but i'm only his sister. Sure, I would do anything for him but i'm 17 and have a own life which I need to handle. But it's always the same, i come home and my mother and I have an fight. And it always end better for her. I'm the person who is wrong and she is right.
„You're his mother! Just like mine. And not the other way around. So leave me alone!", i screamed. I know it wasn't nice to say that, but I was getting tired of it.
I grabbed a sweater and something to eat to put it in my backpack. „Leaving now. I'm gonna live with my pen pal in Roseville. Bye" My mom not even related. It's like she want me to leave. Okay, shit. It was a short-circuit reaction to say something like that. I don't even have a pen friend or anything like that. Hopefully, there will be a bus. It's only 91 miles. On my way to the bus station many people (mostly slightly older people) ask me where I wanna go because it's 11Pm and i'm alone here. But I don't care I just wanna leave. Suddenly there stands a girl in my age. She just looks at me until she decides to come to me.
„Hey, where do you wanna go? ..
oh sorry, first of all what's your Name?", she said. She seems kind so i told her my name. „I wanna go to Roseville to visit a friend." It's awkward I feel bad to lie to her. But I don't even know her? That is none of her business right? She must have noticed that I was thinking because she was trying to clap me out of my head. „You seem to be listening to me again, so I'm Olivia and I want to go to Orangevale. Nice to meet you."
I just realized now that she's really pretty. Brown long curly hair and pretty brown eyes. „Yea i think so, too." The only thing I can say or want to say. „You seem really sad. Do you want to talk about something? Yes of course, we've known each other for maybe five minutes but sometimes it's better to talk to someone you don't know. So if something's bothering you.."„I had a fight with my mother. As well as almost every day so I just got out, because it was unbearable any more. And honestly, I don't even have a pen friend. I just wanted to get out. And now I feel really stupid telling you this even though I don't know you. Otherwise I don't just talk to strangers like that."
„Hey hey, everything's fine. Oh I can really understand you. Doesn't sound really good. But are you sure you want to go to Roseville? Alone? Where do you want to sleep?"
Oh no i completely forgot it. I'm so stupid. I leave without knowing where to go.
Olivia saw that I was desperate, so she says: „Don't worry, you can come to my place. Yes it might be weird because we don't know each other but it's still better than sleeping on a bench, isn't it?"
Yep she's right. But to be honest, she knows me better now than most of our school. So she's not so foreign anymore. Okay i should go with her. Just one night, maybe I will find somewhere to sleep tomorrow.California, Orangevale
The whole way to her, we talked about life and the world. It feels like we know each other since years. I never had a friend to talk to like this. It feels good to have someone. When we entered her house I was still a little afraid, because her parents would kick me out for sure. Who'd take a stranger in?"Olivia, there's leftovers in the fridge for you", her mother shouts from above. She came downstairs, saw me and said „Olivia you brought a friend home. That's cool." She turns to me "what's your name?" Olivia said: „That's Hayley, she will sleep here and mom please stop with these teen words". I had to grin. Seems like here whole family is that kind. We went in her room and wow...
Wanna know what is in her room? -> next chapter haha and what do you think about Olivia? *737 words*
